"THE Salvation Army is facing a backlash after its online anti-homosexuality and gay marriage stance sparked a social media boycott campaign.Gay pop star Darren Hayes - the face of '90s hit machine Savage Garden and a mentor on The Voice - has called for the boycott.
The Salvos responded last night by pointing out they helped Australia's most marginalised and needy, including gay and transgender people.
The Federal Government will release its report on gay marriage today.
After spotting the Salvos' online statement on homosexuality, Hayes tweeted to his 60,748 followers: "Important for gay people to know the true position of the Salvation Army when considering who to donate to. Sad." He said asking people to control their sexuality was like asking someone to change their eye colour."
"Openly gay pop star Darren Hayes called for a boycott of the high-profile charity, a call which was backed by pro-gay lobbyists."

I have an idea how about we boycott "Gays" and their "straight" apologists.I know who has done the most good in the world and the salvos would win hands down when held up against "the Gays"

The Salvo's along with Catholic Nuns are more often than not the ones at the front line cleaning up the manifestations of the "Gay and Proud of it '' life style, with the free provision of medical treatment and Hospice care and for this they are ridiculed insulted and belittled by many of those who are cared for in their last years on this earth.

Yes I will Boycott ANY Charity that is engaged in  the care and support of "Gays" directly or indirectly , Ya mincing bloody pounce

  • THERE has been another war graves attack at a cemetery in Libya which contains the remains of Australian soldiers.

  • Authorities say a headstone has been damaged and temporary markers removed from some graves at the Commonwealth War Cemetery in Benghazi.

  • "The nationality of the individual buried beneath the headstone that was damaged is not yet known,'' the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) said today.

  • The Commonwealth War Graves Commission is working to identify the individual and to restore any damage. It will also replace the removed grave markers as soon as possible.

  • The department said it was in the process of determining if Australian war graves were affected.

  • If any were, they would be "respectfully restored and maintained".

  • Australian graves were among 198 damaged at Benghazi cemetery in February.

  • At the time, Prime Minister Julia Gillard said she was disgusted by the attack and wanted the perpetrators punished.

  • More than 1200 Commonwealth troops who died in the north African desert battles of World War II are buried in the cemetery, in Libya's east.

  • There are 55 Australian graves among them, 48 of which are identified and seven unidentified.
