A LEBANESE national has been charged with attempting to import 15 litres of a liquid used to manufacture a date-rape drug.
Australian Customs and Border Protection alleged its officers detected the 15 litres of Gamma-butyrolactone (GBL) in 12 unlabelled bottles air freighted into Sydney from Hong Kong on March 8.
GBL is a precursor to the date-rape drug Gamma-hydroxybutyrate, commonly known as GHB or fantasy, and is a prohibited import without appropriate authority.
The March 8 discovery was referred to the Australian Federal Police, who on Tuesday searched a Bankstown address and arrested a 32-year-old man as he allegedly waited to take receipt of the liquid.
The man, who faced Sydney's Central Local Court on Wednesday, could now face a maximum penalty of $825,000 and/or life imprisonment.
Just re supplying I guess for that time honored tradition by the uninvited middle eastern residents of Sydney's occupied territories.
How many "Aussie Pigs" and "Aussie Sluts" aka. Australian women and girls, were saved from gang rape by these vermin I guess we will never know.
Well done Australian Customs and Border Protection
