"The chief weapon in the quiver of all Islamist expansionist movements, is the absolute necessity to keep victims largely unaware of the actual theology plotting their demise. To complete this deception, a large body of ‘moderates’ continue to spew such ridiculous claims as “Islam means Peace” thereby keeping non-Muslims from actually reading the Qur’an, the Sira, the Hadith, or actually looking into the past 1400 years of history. Islamists also deny or dismiss the concept of ‘abrogation’, which is the universal intra-Islamic method of replacing slightly more tolerable aspects of the religion in favor of more violent demands for Muslims to slay and subdue infidels"

RATS in the Silo :One hundred too many Muslims in the Australian Defence Forces

Diversity in the Ranks aka.Australia's National suicide note
Muslim Sleeper and supporters emboldened by Turnbull coup d'état start spruiking on social media what they REALLY think about Islamic Terrorism

Muslim RAN Captain Mona Shindy broadsided after terror tweet row

The Daily Telegraph
January 5, 2016 11:31am

Navy’s trailblazing Muslim captain

A SENIOR female Muslim navy officer has had her twitter account shut down after it posted tweets on Islamic terrorism that appear at odds with government policy.

Captain Mona Shindy, the Chief of Navy’s strategic adviser on Islamic affairs, was believed to run the account @navyislamic which retweeted a counter-terrorism expert mocking Tony Abbott after the leadership coup.

The social media account had also backed Grand Mufti Ibrahim Abu Mohamed’s controversial response to the Paris terrorist attacks, tweeting the hashtag #IStandWithTheMufti.

Captain Shindy, who won the Telstra NSW Businesswoman of the Year last year, had also called for the word “Islam” to be removed from reporting on Islamic state in a policy talk.

Her twitter account, which described itself as the “Official Royal Australian Navy Islamic Advisor Twitter account”, vanished shortly before Christmas following complaints.

Captain Shindy had retweeted counter-terrorism expert Anne Aly, who had tweeted on the night of the leadership change: “Wait. Did our new PM just give a speech and not mention boats, death cult, security, death cult, terrorism, national security and death cult?”

Inside the mind of Anne Aly, Moderate Muslim.

Captain Shindy has stated it was her aim to encourage more Muslims to join the defence force, as about 100 of the 45000 defence force personnel identify as Muslim, 27 of them in the Navy.

But a row erupted when she used the account to enter the political fray, and attacked a new Queensland-based political party called the Australian Liberty Alliance, launched by Dutch politician Geert Wilders.

“Real shame to see these extreme ill informed fringe groups threatening #community #cohesion. #auspol #teamhumanrace” the tweet from October 22 stated.

A Defence Department spokesman told The Australian newspaper: “Navy has consolidated its social media platforms to achieve a ‘single source’ so as to strengthen its messaging in synch with its support to traditional media.”

Captain Shindy has worked for the navy for 26 years and is the head of its Guided Missile Frigate Program.

Defence policy usually bans political statements from defence personnel in their official capacity.

In a talk to the Royal United Services Institute of NSW in March last year, Captain Shindy accused the media of “fearmongering”, stating there was no connection between the terror group and religion.

She also raised the issue of a “double standard” over the issue of the occupied territories of Israel, comparing with the world’s “willingness to take prompt and decisive action against other nations such as Iraq”.

“The extremist behaviour of groups purporting to be Muslims has been overplayed by the media for years constantly linking terrorist behaviours to Islam, e.g. use of the description ‘Islamist’, rather than separatist or militant,” she said.

“It is also important that, in the public rhetoric, terrorism and Islam are de-linked. “Constant negative media reporting on apparent Muslim behaviour provides ammunition for terrorist recruiters enabling them to convince impressionable Muslims that there is an agenda against them and their religion — again, supporting a call for armed jihad.

“Indeed, the word ‘Islam’ needs to be removed from reporting on ISIS/ISIL or Daesh. “The barbaric nature and ideology of these groups has nothing to do with Islam and we should work to limit their appeal to vulnerable Muslims, preventing the use and advertising of ‘Islam’ in their name.”

Where Are The Solidarity Hashtags?: Israel Sustained 620 Terror Attacks in OCTOBER ALONE | Truth Revolt

You have not seen an international flurry of solidarity hashtags and Israeli flag avatars adorning people's Facebook pages and Twitter accounts. And you won't. That is the double standard at play when the victims of terror are Israeli rather than French. Yet in just one month alone Israel endured 620 terror attacks, which left 11 dead including two Americans.

Talking sense at last DT Gets it

It’s a grave mistake to downplay threats

Editorial
The Daily Telegraph
October 16 2015

REMARKABLY, there are some who downplay the threat of terrorism by judging the size of that threat by what they estimate to be a very small number of successful assaults. Sydney Liberal MP Fiona Scott, for example, said over the weekend that Australia has “had 100 years, more than a century of relationships with our Islamic communities where it’s lived quite peacefully, and one little incident over 100 years has been what we have had”.

Scott later claimed she wasn’t referring to the recent terrorist murder of police accountant Curtis Cheng, or the deadly Martin Place siege, or the attempted murder of two police officers in Melbourne.

Rather, Scott claimed that her “one little incident” was the murder of four Australians in Broken Hill in 1915.

Liberal Party's Affirmative Action Village Idiot at Large Fiona Scott "‘one little incident over 100 years’ involving Islamic community"

The Liberal MP then declared in parliament on Wednesday night that her comment had not been presented accurately. “Perhaps in 20/20 hindsight I could have chosen my words slightly better,” she said, in one of parliament’s more obvious understatements. “I am sorry if people have taken my words out of context.”

Scott is wrong about being taken out of context and wrong to dismiss the scale of the terrorist threat, which is far better measured by the number of attacks that have been prevented by police. That preventive work continues, day in and day out, due to the vital necessity of curbing the terrorist menace.

The Daily Telegraph reports today that a court order identifies nearly 20 young Islamic extremists as being part of a Western Sydney group willing to commit murder or die for Islamic State. “They are in frequent communication, often in relation to matters reflecting their shared Islamist ideology,” the control order explains. “They continue to express support for the terrorist organisation, the Islamic State, or their desire to become a martyr, or to commit jihad.”

Horrifyingly, one of the group is just 12 years old. Another is 18-year-old Raban Alou, who was charged yesterday with terrorism offences over allegedly supplying the gun to Curtis Cheng’s killer, 15-year-old Farhad Jabar.

This represents thorough and effective police work against a threat that is now expanding to reach a new generation of potential terrorists. “We’re shocked that a 12-year-old is on the police radar for these type of matters,” Australian Federal Police boss Andrew Colvin told the ABC. “The problem is getting worse for Australia, not better.”

Hopefully Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull’s anti-terrorism summit will further clarify the extent of the problem and also point to possible solutions.

“This is a real homegrown threat,” the Prime Minister said. “And it appals all Australians and it appals all Muslim Australians.”

Turnbull is correct, but it is also a fact that Islamic extremism has an undeniably religious element, however twisted that element may be. Any serious response by authorities should not avoid or downplay this.

ASSASSINATION of Mr Curtis Cheng Charges laid UPDATE.

Terror in Australia: Boy, 12, named in court along with 17 Islamic extremists

Janet Fife-Yeomans and Geoff Chambers
The Daily Telegraph
October 16 2015.

HE is a 12-year-old boy who loves playing rugby league, won a “best trainer” award and posts selfies on his social media accounts.

But he is in such danger of being radicalised he has been named in a court control order alongside 17 extremists described in court papers as a close-knit Western Sydney group, willing to commit murder or die for Islamic State, which has been trying to source guns.

The group includes three of the five men arrested last week in counter-terrorism raids after the shooting of unarmed police accountant Curtis Cheng, four men currently locked up in Goulburn Supermax and a 16-year-old classmate of Mr Cheng’s killer, Farhad Jabar, 15.

It is understood the 12-year-old, who cannot be named, also has links with notorious Supermax prisoner Milad Al-Ahmadzai, jailed for threatening to slit the throat of an intelligence officer, and convicted armed robber Bilal Elzamtar.

They are not alleged to have had any involvement in Mr Cheng’s death. Also named in the control order granted by the Federal Circuit Court is Raban Alou, 18, charged yesterday with terrorism offences over allegedly supplying the gun to Jabar as the teen terrorist walked to Parramatta police headquarters on his deadly mission Friday October 2.

“They are in frequent communication, often in relation to matters reflecting their shared Islamist ideology,” the control order states about the group.

“They continue to express support for the terrorist organisation, the Islamic State, or their desire to become a martyr, or to commit jihad.”

The control order was taken out in March by the Australian Federal Police against terror suspect Ahmad Saiyer Naizmand, 20, who tried to flee to Syria using his brother’s passport.

It gives an insight into the tight circle of alleged extremists, naming 18 people including two sets of brothers. Naizmand has been banned from associating with all 18.

“There is sufficient information Naizmand is communicating with the Naizmand group and others in code, possibly in relation to the sourcing of firearms,” the control order states.

Since some of the named men have been arrested and locked up on terrorist-related charges, Naizmand is said to have begun “constantly associating” with those who had previously only been on the periphery of what is labelled a “close knit group”.

“The court is satisfied on the balance of probabilities that making the order would substantially assist in preventing a terrorist act,” Judge Rolf Driver said in imposing the control order.

Named among the 18 is Omarjan Azari, 25, currently in Supermax defending charges of helping plan a terrorist act in relation to an intercepted phone conversation he had with Mohammad Ali Baryalei.

Now believed dead, Baryalei was Australia’s most senior IS leader and recruited scores of Australians to fight in Syria and Iraq.

In the phone call, Baryalei told Azari a “very senior IS figure” had ordered that random kaffir (nonbelievers) should be killed and covered with the IS flag.

The court has heard Azari is alleged to have told Baryalei there were people he knew who had “the heart” to carry out such an attack and named Naizmand under his Arabic name, Abu Moussa, as one of those people.

That phone call sparked the massive Operation Appleby counter-terrorism raids involving more than 800 officers across Sydney’s west and northwest which police said foiled a plot to “commit violent acts”. Also named was Hamdi Alqudsi, who is the first person in Australia to be charged with recruiting and sending people overseas to fight in the Syrian battlefields.

Alqudsi was arrested in December, 2014, and is facing trial over allegations he organised travel and overseas contact for seven people, enabling them to contact and fight alongside terrorists.

The 41-year-old is on bail and was controversially allowed to live in Minto mosque during Ramadan.

Another man named in the order is Milad Al-Ahmadzai, who was jailed for threatening to “slit the throat” of an Australian intelligence officer.

He is serving a sentence of five years and six months for an ATM ram-raid.

Wassim Fayad, 46, who has previously been convicted and jailed for whipping a Muslim convert who confessed to drinking alcohol and taking drugs, was also named in the control order along with Sulayman Khalid, also known as Abu Bakr.

Khalid, 21, is being held in Supermax and will stand trial next year on charges he was in possession of documents “designed to facilitate a terrorist attack”.

Another is Ali Al-Talebi, 26, in Supermax on charges of arranging $6000 to be sent to IS forces in Syria. Khalid and Al-Talebi and both defending the charges/

Also on the list is Ahmad Rahmany, 25, who was released on a good behaviour bond with a $500 fine after pleading guilty to possessing a Taser and ammunition when he was arrested during the Operation Appleby raids. One of those arrested and released last week, Mustafa Dirani, 22, is also named in the group on the control order.

His home was also targeted in the Operation Appleby counter-terrorism raids.

The two not named in the control order who were arrested in last week’s raids are two brothers allegedly part of a crime clan. Both have since been released. Only Alou remains in custody.

Naizmand’s case returns to court on November 9.

Liberal Party's Affirmative Action Village Idiot at Large Fiona Scott "‘one little incident over 100 years’ involving Islamic community"

Fiona Scott: MP slammed for saying there was ‘one little incident over 100 years’ involving Islamic community

Daniel Meers
The Daily Telegraph
October 13 2015

PENRITH backbencher Fiona Scott has been slammed on social media after she claimed there had been “one little incident over 100 years” involving the Islamic community.

This is the face of Affirmative Action.

The federal member for Lindsay’s claim was made just days after the horrific Parramatta terrorist attack, less than a year after the Martin Place siege and a decade after the Pendennis plot.

Ms Scott made the claim in a Sky News interview at the weekend and the backlash became so bad her office removed the interview from her Facebook account.

Her comments caused a Twitter storm yesterday with claims she had insulted the family of the Parramatta victim Curtis Cheng.

When talking about relations with the Islamic community in Australia, Ms Scott said: “We’ve had 100 years, more than a century of relationships with our Islamic communities, where it’s lived quite peacefully and one little incident over 100 years has been what we have had.”

The social media response to the comment was ferocious.

One commenter said: “You are kidding Fiona, what an insult to the family and Australians.” Another asked: “Is this how current govt view the slaughter of Aust people.”

Ms Scott angrily denied the suggestion she was referring to the Parramatta attack during the interview. “To suggest I was referring to recent events in Martin Place and Parramatta is offensive and ridiculous,’’ she said in a statement.

“I was referring to an event in Broken Hill a century ago.”

Ms Scott had earlier made reference to Afghan cameleers who were among the first Muslims in Australia and who had the Ghan train named in their honour after their work on the iconic rail line.

She referenced them to highlight the long history of the cultures, but never mentioned the Battle of Broken Hill a century ago — an incident in which two men killed four people at a community picnic.

The Turnbull government has been criticised for a softer national security approach to that of Tony Abbott. Mr Turnbull was slammed for launching an app rather than addressing terrorism on the morning of terror raids in Sydney last week that followed the Parramatta attack.

His office did not comment on Ms Scott yesterday, but Mr Turnbull made a national security statement to parliament yesterday where he said national security was his top priority.

“The fact this atrocity was perpetrated by a 15-year-old boy reminds us that this must be a first order priority for all of us, every one of us.’

Islamic Terrorism Raids at Sydney's Occupied Territories suspects homes raided.

Five men arrested in terror raids following Parramatta shooting attack

The Daily Telegraph

October 7 2015

ALL of the homes raided by counter-terrorism officers today were also targeted during last September’s Operation Appleby, which was launched to investigate the plot to behead a member of the public in Sydney.

Five people were arrested at dawn in four separate raids in Sydney’s suburbs, including a 16-year-old schoolmate of Farhad Jabar, the teen terrorist who murdered police worker Curtis Cheng on Friday.

More than 200 armed officers stormed four homes in Bursill St, Guildford; Lane St, Wentworthville; Lockwood Street, Merrylands; and Booth Street, Marsfield, at 6am.

It is believed at least one of the men picked up is an associate of terror suspect Omarjan Azari who was arrested during Operation Appleby.

Statue of Virgin Mary smashed and desecrated at Maronite Christian Church in Sydney's Occupied Territories.

At a lunchtime press conference, Deputy Commissioner Catherine Burn confirmed all of the addresses targeted were the same as last year but denied police had taken their eye off the ball.

“We know some of the people we are now interested in are people that have come under notice previously in relation to Operation Appleby,” she said.
But it was a ‘sad reality’ that police couldn’t be everywhere at all time.

Today’s raids were a direct result of Friday’s murder out the front of police headquarters and had not been in the planning before the terror attack.

“This is a clear indication of our determination to actually find out who murdered Curtis Cheng and to take all necessary action that we possibly can,” she said.

“It’s a very, very serious concern that in the heart of our community there is attack planning that is under way and that may have led to what we saw on Friday.”

Cheng, a 58-year-old father of two, was shot dead at 4.30pm as he left Parramatta police HQ with a single bullet from a .38 Smith and Wesson that Jabar is now believed to have been given at the local mosque.

Federal police have thwarted a number of terror attacks across the country since September last year, AFP Acting Deputy Commissioner Neil Gaughan said.

“We have disrupted six attacks (and) we have a large number of persons of interest across the country and we have a large number of persons on the periphery of those investigations that we clearly cannot monitor 24/7,” he said.
“This is not just an issue for the NSW police and Australian Federal Police. This is an issue for every law enforcement agency in this country as well as all our intelligence communities.”

Ms Burn confirmed the teen gunman had not been in the sights of NSW Police ahead of the attack but said they were confident he had not acted alone.

“The 15-year-old deceased has not been a target of ours and is not somebody we would have assessed as a threat,” she said.

She refused to speculate on his motives.

The five people arrested today were located in:

* Wentworthville - Two brothers aged 16 and 18.

* Merrylands - Two men aged 22 and 24, one on an unrelated fraud charge.

* Marsfield - One 22-year-old man.

Karen Smith, 57, in Wentworthville, said she woke to the yells of counter terrorism officers at 5am.

“They were yelling — ‘there’s a warrant, don’t move, everyone get out, don’t resist’,” she said.

“They were taking people out one by one.”

She said of her neighbours: “I’ve never had any problem with them at all, the boys are always polite. I think it’s a real shame that the world has come to this.”

In Marsfield, Derek Archer, 52, lives opposite the house which was raided and woke up to the noise of the police raid.

“I just woke up to some large shouting similar to 12 months ago, just ‘get down, get down’,” he said.

“We didn’t open the door this time or anything like that, just had a look out the window.”

In Merrylands, a woman dressed in a pink chador lashed out at the media before entering the house raided by officers.

Later, eggs were thrown at reporters standing outside.

In Guildford, counter-terrorism detectives removed a number of large bags of evidence from the family home of terror suspect Azari.

Is Farhad Khalil Mohammad Jabar. yet another product of the Islamic Industry from Sydney's Occupied Territories ?

Did this Racist manifesto by Sydney media Darling and go to Muslim / Community leader Keysar Trad inspire the thankfully now dead Islamic Sociopath who cold bloodedly
murder Curtis Cheng outside Parramatta Police Station?

Zakey Mallah a graduate of the Lakemba Mosque de radicalisation, rehabilitation course for people who are "Good Pious Muslims" taken under the wing of Keysar Trad and the Lakemba Mosque after, 2015,Mr Mullah's first run in with Australian Anti Terror Officers.

Mr Trad is a Pious  "Moderate" Muslim Community Leader, fawned upon by Australia's leftist progressive main stream media and is a resident in Sydney Australia's Occupied Territories located in South Western Sydney.
In his publication  Nida'ul Islam magazine(http://www.islam.org.au), December - January 1996-97] December 97 / Janurary 97 wrote this about the Chinese.

"The Chinese are also actively practicing their form of elitism on minorities in their country and abroad with persecutions of Muslims, and the entering into treaties with Russia and other countries to counter the growing threat of the"Islamic Menace"
The article is reproduced in full below scroll.

Unlike Mr Trad and his Co Religionists, the Chinese residents in Sydney and indeed all of Australia have a well deserved proud and respected history in Australia.
They are industrious and seek excellence at every available opportunity to them in whatever field of scholarship or employment they enter. The "Chinese" work ethic is well known and respected.

The "Chinese Australians" have never demanded special privileges based on their race or beliefs, unlike Mr Trad's Co Religionists they simply GET ALONG with their fellow Australians at any and all opportunities available to them,my,our, country Australia is all the better for our "Chinese Australian's".
I am yet to see any  evidence where my country, our country, is better for the Whitlam Grassbey Labor  / Fraser Liberal and subsequent Governments of both Political sides over the past 35 years and their obsession with  unbridled Islamic Immigration.

Was Mr Curtis Cheng Slaughtered because he was an Australian, an Australian of Chinese descent,an Infidel the lowest of the low,or just because he was an employee of the NSW Police Force ?

Whatever reason, all or one of the above is, according to Pious Muslims and their Koran, they are good enough reasons to kill him and ensure a "Pious Muslim" a place in Muslim "God allah's, "Paradise" where all the forbidden perversions of the Non Muslim earthly world are freely available for eternity, a bit like Sodom and Gomorrah where anything goes for eternity.

“The penis of the Elected never softens. The erection is eternal; the sensation that you feel each time you have sex is utterly delicious and out of this world, and were you to experience it in this world you would faint. Each chosen one [i.e., Muslim] will marry seventy [sic] houris, besides the women he married on earth, and all will have appetizing vaginas.”
Koran 52:24
…Round about them will serve, to them, boys (handsome) as pearls well-guarded.
Koran 56:17
…Round about them will serve boys of perpetual freshness.
Koran 76:19
…And round about them will serve boys of perpetual freshness: if thou seest them, thou wouldst think them scattered pearls.O the joy of sodomy!
A poem in 'Perfumed Garden' by Abu Nuwas:
So now be sodomites, you Arabs.
Turn not away from it therein is wondrous pleasure.
Take some coy lad with kiss curls twisting on his temple
And ride as he stands like some gazelle standing to her mate.
A lad whom all can see girt with sword and belt not like your whore who has to go veiled.
Make for smooth-faced boys and do your very best to mount them,
for women are the mounts of the devils

I am not suggesting that Mr Trad has any direct involvement in the Death of Mr Curtis Cheng but words have meaning and sometimes tragic consequences.

The Islamic Koran is a perfect example of HATE Speech Hate for the "other" Hate for those who refuse to kneel at the alter of HATE and savagery and worship Islam's allah invented by the most infamous "Prophet" Mohammed, a male the Islamist's call the "Perfect Man"

"The Perfect Man" Mohammed a boastful, Thief,Gang Rapist,Mutilator, Be header,Paedophile,Slave Trader, Mass Murderer,Sadist, and Polygamist, its easy to see how Muslims today are so readily excused for their support of or engaging in acts of barbarism and  savagery in the name of their ideology when their "Prophet " set such a LOW bar for his followers to jump.

Leftist Progressive apologists for Islam share so many common values starting with unbridled savagery directed towards any and all who do not share their same world view.

Islam for the Leftist Progressives is like having a Rabid Mad Dog that they can let off the leash and set it upon the Neighbours that they don't like, and if the victims object they can be legally called Racists, Bigots,Islamophobe's  (Dog Haters) their Rabid Mad Muslim Dog simply calls them Infidels.
No matter what the Progressives naughty, but ever so fashionable Dog of Islam does, it is protected from sanction by a new  perverted definition of Racism and Bigotry.
The Progressive Left the United Nations and in Australia the the ACTU GetUp funded Labor Green Loon Independent Co Party, has designated that a belief in the Koran automatically ascribes the follower with a Race, and as such any criticism of the follower of Islam is Racism,Bigotry , Islamophobia.

The reality in Australia, today, 2015, is that any Australian who objects to the stated boastful objectives and acts of  Muslims irrespective of their Godless savagery  is by definition a Racist, a Bigot an Islamophobe.

Australia's Prime Minister and the Leftist Opposition Leader have demanded that Australian's "not hate" ..... sorry they do not mean that Muslims stop hating Australians they are demanding that Australian's not HATE Muslims for what they say they will do and what they DO to Australian's and have DONE to Australians.

Both these Arse Clowns are demanding that Australians not HATE their Executioners, they demand that Australians LOVE those who have killed us, are yet to  kill us, and boast of their intention to kill even more of us at every opportunity available to them because well after all "it's their way", it's in the Koran and Islam means Peace and after all we all want Peace right? so the sooner Australian's get out of the way either convert or agree to become slaves or better still agree to be executed the sooner Peace will reign over the House of War.

Video Footage of Killer after Muslims celebrates closer ties with Turnbull Government by Murdering Civilian Police Employee outside Parramatta Police Station

Islamic leader Amhad Malas calls on Malcolm Turnbull to restart relationship with Australian Muslims
ABCBy political reporter Tom IgguldenOctober 2 2015
An Islamic community leader is calling on Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull to reset the Federal Government's relationship with Australia's Muslims.
Amhad Malas, a director of the Lebanese Muslim Association, told The World Today the community was encouraged by Mr Turnbull's promise to be a consultative Prime Minister.
"Because the community is really longing to see a change, we're really hopeful that will extend to the Muslim community," he said.
Mr Malas said former prime minister Tony Abbott's use of phrases like "team Australia" and his admonishment that Muslim leaders had not done enough to combat radicalisation had damaged relations.
"It definitely has had a severe effect on the relationship between the community and the Government and we really want to see that change," Mr Malas said.
He issued an invitation for the Mr Turnbull to visit Western Sydney, which many of Australia's Muslims call home.
It's very important that these relationships are now intensified at the national level.
"He'll be welcome, and I think it's needed also so he gets a real feel for the issues that are facing the community, and definitely our doors are open for that," Mr Malas said.
Assistant Minister for Multicultural Affairs, Connie Ferriveinte-Wells, said the Government is looking a ways to improve the relationship with Muslim groups.
"It's very important that these relationships are now intensified at the national level," she told Radio National Breakfast.
"Our communities do feel alienated, they feel as though events overseas and the Middle East have impinged on their relationship, not just with government but broader Australia.
"I think its really important that those relationships are revisited."

Parramatta shooting: Farhad Khalil Mohammad Jabar named as killer of Curtis Cheng

Parramatta shooting: Multiple shots fired outside police HQ on Charles Street

Janet Fife-Yeomans, Lia Harris, Cathy Morris and Taylor Auerbach
The Daily Telegraph
October 3 2015.

  • Victim, a police IT worker, was ‘simply leaving work’ when shot dead
  • Shooting happened outside Police HQ in Parramatta at 4.30pm
  • Gunman shot dead by Special Constables after gunfight
  • Children were trapped in daycare with dead body at door
  • THE gunman who shot dead a police staffer was a 15-year-old who had visited Parramatta Mosque on his way to commit murder.

The teenager, a naturalised Australian who arrived with his family from Iran, had walked to the police headquarters in Charles Street from his home in North Parramatta before opening fire on a civilian police employee.

Police are today trying to trackdown the teenage killer’s family who may have left the area.

His victim was a father-of-two, a son and a daughter, who is understood to have worked in the finance area for police.

Witnesses have told The Saturday Telegraph that after shooting dead the civilian employee, the teenager ran up and down infront of police headquarters waving his handgun in the air and shouting: “Allah. Allah.”

It was then that two special constables on security duty ran from the police building and shot the gunman dead.

Police are trying to find out who radicalised the teenager.

He had no identification on him and it is understood to be his brotherwho rang police and said he thought he knew who the gunman was.

Security may be beefed up at tomorrow’s NRL grand final following the incident.

The bodies of the victim and the shooter were removed earlier this morning.

Charles St is still completely blocked from Macquarie St to George St, with only residents being allowed past the cordons.

Last night Police Commissioner Andrew Scipione described the incdient as a “brutal crime” after reviewing CCTV footage.

“An employee of the NSW Police Force has been callously murdered,” he said.

“I viewed a number of pieces of footage. I can tell you this was a brutal crime. A terrible crime.”

The gunman, walked past one female police officer before shooting the civilian employee in the back of the head.

It is not certain if the victim was known to the gunman, who had still not been identified late on Friday night.

Mr Scipione said the vision showed the civilian employee was “targeted”.

The attacker remained on the street after killing the public servant with a single shot and got into an exchange with special constables working in the building.

The commissioner praised the bravery of the special constables guarding the entrance, who have full police powers and who were sprayed with bullets by the gunman before he was shot dead.

He said police had not ruled out that the gunman, who had no identification on him, was working with others, although it was too soon to know the motive.

The Saturday Telegraph has learned messages had been sent to police to be on alert because people had been seen taking photographs of the entrance to the building, which houses the crack major crime squads.

Sources said the building had been “cased” and there had been “chatter” in recent weeks about a potential attack, but the target was not clear.

“There has been activity around a number of locations in NSW, they’re the things we communicate to our officers,” Mr Scipione said.

He said a major events team was looking at the incident with a view to the NRL grand final, but said security for the match at the ANZ Stadium on Sunday night was already high.
Police flooded the area and shoppers ran in panic as a 2km exclusion zone was declared around the building after the shootings at about 4.30pm on Friday.

Officers in body armour patrolled Parramatta CBD as police declared it a Level 1 critical incident, the most serious level there is.

The two bodies lay on the pavement covered in white sheets at the doorway of a childcare centre. The group of children were locked inside the centre after one of the bodies lay at the door.

Father Dennis Entriken told The Daily Telegraph they all hoped their kids had been spared the sight and sounds of the horror.

“Unfortunately the children are still inside — we can’t get access to them and they can’t come out,” he said.

“Because one of the bodies is quite literally on the ground at the entrance to the childcare centre.”

The parents have since been reunited with their children.

Police seized a backpack from the footpath in front of Parramatta Public School about 300m from the bodies.

The black backpack — branded with a white “Nike” slogan — had been cordoned off inside a secondary crime scene.

It is understood a number of other items were also photographed and seized by forensic police.

Witnesses to the shooting said the gunman had been waving the gun above his head.

“I saw him pacing up and down at police headquarters with a gun above his head, he was yelling something and dressed in a black robe,” witness Edwin Almeida said.

“He was wearing something that could be mistaken for a priest’s outfit. It was a black robe, but he definitely wasn’t a priest.” Mr Almeida, whose office is opposite the police headquarters, said four or five shots were fired.

“He was screaming and running towards the police building … he looked agitated,” he said.

“There was blood everywhere.”

Shopkeeper Sammy Shak told The Daily Telegraph he saw two bodies on the ground after hearing “six shots at least”.

“When I went out there was two bodies on the floor and there was cops everywhere all around the area and they told me to go inside the shop straight away,” he said.

Another witness who lives in an apartment opposite police headquarters said he heard the shooting.

“I finished work and was in the shower and I heard the gunshots,” the man, who asked not to be named, told The Daily Telegraph.

“I heard six or seven gunshots and it was pretty loud.

“In two to three minutes there were cops everywhere.”

One worker, whose colleague witnessed the shooting, told The Daily Telegraph she was left shaken after watching an exchange of gunfire.

Residents who live near the police headquarters said they heard three or four “bangs”, which sounded like fireworks, before a gap of 30 seconds and a further four bangs.

An ambulance left Charles Street just after 5pm as locals gathered around the blocked-off area.
