"The chief weapon in the quiver of all Islamist expansionist movements, is the absolute necessity to keep victims largely unaware of the actual theology plotting their demise. To complete this deception, a large body of ‘moderates’ continue to spew such ridiculous claims as “Islam means Peace” thereby keeping non-Muslims from actually reading the Qur’an, the Sira, the Hadith, or actually looking into the past 1400 years of history. Islamists also deny or dismiss the concept of ‘abrogation’, which is the universal intra-Islamic method of replacing slightly more tolerable aspects of the religion in favor of more violent demands for Muslims to slay and subdue infidels"

Tony Abbott first interview since leadership coup with Ray Hadley.
Former Prime Minister Tony Abbott interviewed by Ray Hadley

The Daily Telegraph
September 29,2015.
TONY Abbott is confident he would have won the next election had he been left as Prime Minister.
The dumped PM, who lost his job to Malcolm Turnbull in a coup two weeks ago, this morning dismissed negative opinion polls and said he had never done well in public opinion polls.
“I am confident that if I had continued at head of this government that’s what we would have had (a victory),” Mr Abbott told 2GB’s Ray Hadley.
“If you look at my polling I’ve always done badly in the polls.
“You can be not popular in the ratings and at the same time lead a very effective opposition and government.”
Mr Abbott said internal party polling in the lead up to the Canning by-election showed the Liberal party would have won 57 per cent of the vote which is about what the final result was on the day.
He said the timing of the leadership spill was carefully coordinated to ensure a challenge was successful.
Turnbull wins Liberal leadership
“Because a strong result in Canning would have put paid to this notion that somehow I wouldn’t survive the next election,” Mr Abbott said.
He said he was doing OK after losing the nation’s top job, however was still not yet ready to make a decision on his future.
“57-years-old is still young,” he said of his age.
“I’m not ready to retire and I still have a lot to contribute to public life.”
Mr Abbott also lamented that he never watched his back while Prime Minister which may have led to his demise.
“I never believed in watching my own back,” Mr Abbott said in his first public interview since being rolled.
“Any leader who is watching his back is not focusing on the main job at hand. If the leader ever starts to play internal politics than the leader is in trouble.
“I always knew that politics was a brutal bruising business. It is a game of snakes and ladders and I’ve got a snake at the moment.”
Mr Abbott urged voters to stick with the Coalition at the next election and Malcolm Turnbull as Prime Minister.
“I can appreciate there are a lot of people out there who are dismayed by what has happened,” he said.
“But it would be even worse if we end up with the sixth prime minister in six years.”
Mr Abbott also denied that he ever thought about cutting loose former Treasurer Joe Hockey and his chief-of-staff Peta Credlin in order to placate any push for a change of leader.
“The idea that those people hungry for advancement would be mollified by if Joe went or my chief-of-staff is just wrong,” he said.
“They were not going to be put off if they were thrown a few human sacrifices and it is wrong to feed this beast.
“Joe and I were blood brothers when it comes to economic policy. The idea that I would have sacrificed Joe to save myself is just dead wrong.”
Mr Abbott also refused to weigh in on if he felt betrayed by his former deputy Julie Bishop and close ally Scott Morrison.
“I’d rather focus on the good work that they did,” he said.
“In the end all of us have got to answer to God and our consciousnesses and I am not going to get into who should have said what.”
On Scott Morrison in particular, Mr Abbott said: “At some point in time I’m sure we’ll have a conversation and we will resolve these things.”
Mr Abbott also urged politicians to stop the revolving door of prime ministers for the sake of the nation.
“This is a real problem for our country. The government can’t do what is necessary if you are subject to death by polls,” he said.
“We’ve had five prime ministers in five years. We are worse than Italy and only just better than Greece.
“For a country that has always had stable and effective government this is hardly the face we want to put to the world.”

FORMER Prime Minister Tony Abbott says Malcolm Turnbull executed him the week before the Canning by-election because he was on track for a strong result at the Canning ballot box.
In a 30 minute interview with Radio 2GB host Ray Hadley, aired live on television, Mr Abbott said his executioners were aware internal polling in Canning showed the government was on track for 57 per cent of the vote.
“One of the reasons why the ballot had to be brought on the week it was brought on by the proponents of a ballot was because a strong result in Canning, which is what we were going to get, would have put
paid to this notion that somehow I was unelectable because of the polls,’’ he said.

Scott Morrison challenged to swear on Bible he didn’t undermine Abbott
Didn’t understand Abbott move to oust Hockey and give him Treasury
2GB host Ray Hadley insisted Abbott felt “betrayed” by Morrison
SCOTT Morrison has revealed the former Prime Minister Tony Abbott threw Treasurer Joe Hockey “under the bus” in an 11th hour bid to save his leadership.
In a fiery exchange with “good mate” Ray Hadley on 2GB this morning, the Social Services minister said he was shocked Mr Abbott offered him the role of treasurer in the lead up to the leadership spill.
“I didn’t understand it,” Mr Morrison said on 2GB.
“I didn’t understand how if we were to be successful that night, how we would explain that to the Australian people.
“I didn’t understand why he wanted me to pick a fight with Joe Hockey and throw him under the bus.”

Mr Hadley pressed Mr Morrison to swear on the Bible that he had not plotted with the new Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull to overthrow Mr Abbott.
While Mr Morrison initially refused to bring faith into the argument, he flatly denied he undercut Tony Abbot to elevate Mr Turnbull.
“Absolutely not, I had no role in his demise,” Mr Morrison said.
Mr Hadley continued to press him, saying the Australian people had a right to know the truth. and the only way to do that was to swear on a Bible.
“I’m not going to use my faith for a stunt for your program,” Mr Morrison said.
“You get to judge my policies but you don’t get to judge my faith.”
Mr Hadley also revealed Mr Abbott felt “betrayed” by Mr Morrison, saying a source close to the former leader said he felt Mr Morrison had “blotted his copybook”.
“Mr Abbott thinks you ran with the foxes and hunted with the hounds,” Mr Hadley said.
A nonplussed Mr Morrison replied: “Well, he’s wrong ... At the end of the day I voted for Tony Abbott. I gave him utter loyalty for the entire time I served.”
“You get to judge my policies but you don’t get to judge my faith” — Scott Morrison
He also said he had not used the automatic deleting Wikr messaging service to secretly bolster support for Mr Turnbull with factional allies and had in fact warned Mr Abbott of an impending coup.
“I said on Friday to the PM’s office that things were pretty febrile and they should be on high alert,” he said.
Scott Morrison conceded Tony Abbott offered him the role of Treasurer in a bid to save himself

Mr Morrison also revealed he has not spoken to Mr Abbott since Monday night’s leadership ballot.
“I said good luck after the ballot and we shook hands,” he said.
Mr Morrison has been accused of deliberately “running dead” in the lead-up to the coup when he could have been rallying coalition troops to support the ousted leader.
It was revealed earlier this week that Mr Abbott had been warned by allies not to trust Mr Morrison as far back as May amid fears he would two-face the leader — offering support but allegedly double dealing behind his back.
Social Services Minister Scott Morrison speaks to the media after a radio interview with Ray Hadley in which he revealed Tony Abbott had offered him the position of Treasurer in a last-minute bid to save
himself.
Concerns escalated last week before Mr Turnbull’s leadership challenge when it became obvious the Social Services Minister was not actively supporting Mr Abbott.
However witnesses told The Australian they saw Mr Morrison’s ballot paper in the Liberal Party room on Monday night and it showed he voted for Mr Abbott.
Mr Morrison is likely to benefit from the change of leadership having been tipped to take on the role of treasurer from Mr Hockey.
It comes as Liberal frontbencher Christopher Pyne told Mr Abbott he didn’t expect there would be a leadership challenge this week, 24 hours before he jumped ship and sided with Malcolm Turnbull.
The eduction minister confirmed on Friday that Mr Abbott had his support the day before the spill which resulted in him losing the prime ministership.
“The truth is on Sunday there was no leadership ballot, on Monday there was, then I made an assessment,” Mr Pyne told the Nine Network’s Today show this morning.
Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Minister for Social Services Scott Morrison at Parliament House in Canberra. Mr Morrison has been tipped to take on the new role of Treasurer.
Mr Pyne said Mr Abbott was given a warning by the party room in February and seven months later things still weren’t any better.
“It was very hard for anyone to argue that he wasn’t given absolutely every opportunity to prove that he was the best person to lead the party,” he said.
Mr Pyne, who has been mooted as a possible replacement for Kevin Andrew as Defence Minister, was one of the more high-profile Liberal MPs to back Mr Turnbull in Monday’s leadership vote.

Malcolm Turnbull will fail if he can’t heal the Liberal Party

PRIME Minister Malcolm Turnbull’s biggest problem isn’t Bill Shorten. No, knocking off that soiled Labor leader should be a cinch. Far more dangerous to Turnbull are the Liberals disgusted by the treachery and deceit that went into assassinating former leader Tony Abbott.
There is almost a revulsion among influential MPs, not just with Turnbull but his deputy, Foreign Affairs Minister Julie Bishop. There is even anger with Scott Morrison, until now a hero of conservatives and about to become Turnbull’s treasurer.
For some this is now a moral question. They know they should be loyal to their party. They know Turnbull can beat Shorten. And they know their duty is to help Turnbull do that, given how unfit Shorten is to lead this country.
Yet Turnbull’s plotters make their skin crawl. I’ve talked to MPs, even moderates, who are sickened. Some wonder why they got into politics or even whether they should join a new party. That just adds venom to the anger that many conservative Liberals already feel for Turnbull — for a man of the Left they think has hijacked their party.
Let me give three examples of the scheming that makes it hard for Turnbull to expect much loyalty in return.
First, there was Julie Bishop’s disloyal silence. As deputy Liberal leader, Bishop had a duty to warn Abbott of threats to his leadership.
Yet on Channel 10’s The Project this week, she admitted she had heard of the planned challenge to Abbott — announced on Monday — “in the days beforehand”, although she later claimed “I had no idea of the timing until the day before”.
But Bishop did not warn Abbott of Turnbull’s plot until Monday. She’d been waiting to have the reports “confirmed by others”, she said.
Oh, really?
To add to the suspicion, when Abbott rang Bishop’s mobile last Saturday to discuss rumours of this challenge, Bishop did not answer and took a full day to ring back. No wonder, perhaps. Bishop had spent that Saturday at a Sydney charity event where she’d met Turnbull.
That’s been too much for Liberal Premier Colin Barnett, of Bishop’s home state of Western Australia. He accused her of “duplicity”, adding: “And there’s probably been some disloyalty.”
Second, there was Scott Morrison’s refusal to help Abbott defeat Turnbull. Morrison, the Liberal who stopped the boats, was emerging as Abbott’s natural successor and the star of the Liberals’ conservative wing. On Monday morning, just hours before Turnbull sprang his trap, Morrison insisted on 2GB he had “no idea” of any possible challenge. He said he was an Abbott supporter, so “if they were (plotting) they would not be talking to me”.
Interesting to hear Morrison talking to Hadley the morning of the coup he maintains total ignorance of. Tomorrow he will again appear on the Hadley show It will be an interesting show to say the least.
Yet later that day Morrison refused Abbott’s offer to be deputy Liberal leader on a joint ticket with Abbott against Turnbull and Bishop.
He was also effectively refusing to be Abbott’s new treasurer, since the deputy has their pick of portfolios.
True, Abbott was even then still foolishly reluctant to sack his existing Treasurer, the embattled Joe Hockey.
His offer really meant it was up to Morrison to sack Hockey and run against Bishop. But had Morrison said yes to Abbott’s offer, he and his five supporters would have helped to defeat Turnbull and would have encouraged other Liberal waverers to join them. A yes would also have meant that Morrison, a Pentecostal Christian conservative opposed to gay marriage, would have saved a fellow conservative from a Leftist and gay-marriage crusader
Yet Morrison chose not to fight for Abbott or for his beliefs. While privately telling Liberals and some journalists he remained an Abbott supporter, he gave no press conference to defend him and his coterie of MPs voted for Turnbull.
True, Morrison figured Abbott had poor judgment and was not a long-term bet. He also didn’t want to be in a contest with Bishop or in Abbott’s fight with Turnbull and will still get his reward — Hockey’s job as Treasurer. But where was the fighting for principle?
And then there was the sabotage.
Abbott, at his farewell press conference, denounced the “white-anting” by Liberal MPs, the “self-serving claims” peddled to journalists by his anonymous critics to do the work of “the assassin’s knife”.
It is too easily forgotten that Abbott by May had largely recovered in the polls, even drawing level with Labor in one. Journalists had started to question Shorten’s leadership instead. But Abbott’s recovery was then blown up. He was rocked by another burst of leaks, destabilisation and distractions by his own side that continued right up until Monday.
For instance, friendly journalists were told Bishop had warned Abbott to sack Hockey and that she’d told colleagues that Labor seemed to be running dead in next Saturday’s Canning by-election (allegedly to ensure the unpopular Abbott stayed prime minister until next year’s election). Abbott’s poll figures collapsed. They’d got him.
But, sure, no change of leaders is painless. And Turnbull’s plotters are right: they have given the Liberals a leader more popular than the man he replaced. By making the Liberals more electable, they may have done the party a big favour. And isn’t their higher loyalty to the party, not to Abbott, whose mistakes caused more damage than anything done by the plotters?
Yet many Liberal voters seem red-hot with anger. On Monday, more than 1000 sent me angry emails and messages, almost all abusing Turnbull and most saying they could never vote for the Liberals again if he led them. Callers to conservative talk shows are also spitting chips.
Conservatives were always going to be furious about having their party stolen by the Left. But many are now appalled by the treachery as well.
Alternative Conservative Party for disaffected Liberal Voters with the final say going to Stephanie Legendary Conservative 2GB caller
So this is now Turnbull’s great challenge. It will take all his charm and persuasiveness to heal a division that could wreck his campaign and even split his party.
He has already had one expensive reminder that many government MPs simply do not trust his word or his instincts. Take the Nationals, whose 15 House of Representatives MPs are needed by the Liberals to form government.
The Nationals on Tuesday arced up at Turnbull’s election as Liberal leader. They refused to back any government led by him until he’d signed a deal with them.
They know Turnbull is a warming alarmist and a bit carried away by his own brilliance. So they made Turnbull not only promise to spend $2 billion more on the Nationals’ pet schemes, but to guarantee he would not change Abbott’s policies on gay marriage and global warming.
Oh, and he had to give Nationals deputy leader Barnaby Joyce control over water policy.
That’s why Abbott took so long on Tuesday to formally resign. He had to wait for Turnbull to sign the Nationals’ deal. Until then, Turnbull couldn’t guarantee he had support in Parliament to form government.
That is just one sign of the tensions that threatens Turnbull most. So forget Shorten. He won’t much bother Turnbull.
No, Turnbull’s first big campaign must be not to destroy Labor but to heal the Liberals he now leads.

THEIR ABC and Fairfax, Rats in the SILO, doing their best to undermine border protection +FACTS on numbers of Labor Green Loon VOTE People arrivals
ABC and Fairfax doing their best to undermine border protection issue
Piers Akerman
The Daily Telegraph
January 24,2014
FORCED to face the collapse of their repeated pre-election prediction that the Coalition's border protection policy would be unworkable, the ABC and Fairfax are now doing their utmost to undermine the national effort.
In many countries the activities of these media outlets would be regarded as traitorous.
In 1946 William Joyce, known to the world as Lord Haw-Haw, was executed for treason after spending the war years broadcasting propaganda from Berlin on behalf of his Nazi hosts.
The actions of the ABC this week, notably through its ill-gotten Australia Network, which broadcasts into Indonesia, rival Joyce's disgraceful deeds.
How the ABC and its Fairfax supporters can believe that reporting allegations of accusations of torture by Australian service personnel without a shred of corroborating evidence is in line with sound journalistic practice and principle is beyond belief.
Before the election, both media outlets noisily protested that the Coalition's plan to stop the boats would fail. In the face of the indisputable success of Operation Sovereign Borders, both have been forced to recalibrate their politicised campaign of attack on the Coalition.
Producing an asylum seeker with a burnt finger or two hardly constitutes evidence of torture on the high seas.
Not surprisingly, the ABC and Fairfax are clamouring for an inquiry. So, too, are the people-smugglers - because an inquiry would tie up the naval resources that are damaging their businesses.
The ABC constantly claims Immigration Minister Scott Morrison has imposed a blanket of secrecy over the anti-people-smuggling operation. Secrecy was a prerequisite of the military involved in the operation, as it would be in any military exercise.
The attempts to smear Morrison don't stop there. The ABC and Fairfax try to make him the scapegoat for every action taken by the Immigration Department, even when nothing more than due process is being followed, so intent are they on pursuing their own dubious political agendas.
Earlier this month the organisations prosecuted the cause of a homosexual man who was in Australia unlawfully.
They, and the Twitterati, claimed Morrison was somehow reluctant to act because the man was in a same-sex relationship.
They agitated for Morrison to ignore the process that applies to all individuals applying for protection visas, be they heterosexual or homosexual, and grant the man residency immediately - same-sex relationships take precedence in their alternate world.
Every day these organisations take up political cudgels in the hope of damaging the government.
Occasionally, the ABC's broadcasts generate a response from Indonesia and some minister is obliged to increase the rhetoric even though the political reality dictates the cessation of the people-smuggling trade would benefit both Indonesia and Australia.
Once the boats are stopped, the issue is dead and the countries can get on with more important issues beneficial to both.
But the ABC and Fairfax want to keep the issue alive and they ignore the international precedents for the Abbott government's actions.
Here is the mission statement from the US Coast Guard on illegal boat arrivals: "The Coast Guard conducts patrols and coordinates with other federal agencies and foreign countries to interdict undocumented migrants at sea, denying them entry via maritime routes to the United States, its territories and possessions.
"Thousands of people try to enter this country illegally every year using maritime routes, many via smuggling operations. Interdicting migrants at sea means they can be quickly returned to their countries of origin without the costly processes required if they successfully enter the United States.
"When successful, illegal immigration can potentially cost US taxpayers billions of dollars each year in social services. In addition to relieving this financial burden on our citizens, the Coast Guard's efforts help to support legal migration systems.
"Primarily, the Coast Guard maintains its humanitarian responsibility to prevent the loss of life at sea, since the majority of migrant vessels are dangerously overloaded, unseaworthy or unsafe."
It could just as easily describe the Abbott government policy.
People-smugglers, the ABC and Fairfax have a vested interest in keeping this issue alive in the hope there will be sufficient public outrage to bring about a review. Despite all the indignation, it isn't going to happen.
Prime Minister Tony Abbott has given his full backing to the operation and expressed total support to the naval and customs officers on the frontline.
Speaking in Davos, Switzerland, he said: "These are just claims without any apparent facts to back them up. I fully support the statement of the minister on this subject and I have complete confidence in the decency, the humanity and the professionalism of Australia's navy and customs personnel, who I commend for a magnificent job - a job which is increasingly effective and successful.
"While I'm not saying this problem has been entirely resolved, the fact is we have gone many weeks now without a single boat arrival in Australia and the last time we had this kind of an outcome was back, from memory, in 2008.
"I think people making allegations should be able to produce some evidence. There is no evidence to back them up. Who do you believe? Do you believe Australian naval personnel or the people who are trying to break Australian law?
"I trust Australia's naval personnel."

No boat in five weeks vindicates Prime Minister's tactics

AUSTRALIA has not recorded an asylum seeker boat arrival in five weeks - the first time in five years there has been such a quiet stretch without more people filling detention centres.
The Abbott government last night said Australia was now back close to the "starting line" in its bid to eliminate "the border chaos" that had started under Kevin Rudd in early 2009 and continued under Julia Gillard.
The reduction comes as relations between Australia and Indonesia over asylum seekers soured further yesterday with our closest northern neighbour warning that Australia was "reachable" by its fighter planes.
The development comes as the population of asylum seekers at Christmas Island has also dropped below 2000 for the first time since February last year.
"We have our foot on the neck of the smugglers and we are not going to give them any relief," Immigration Minister Scott Morrison said. "We are going to keep applying the pressure."
The last boat arrival of asylum seekers was transferred to Australian authorities on December 19, a period of 35 days, or five weeks, without an arrival.
While the government has declined to comment about "on-water" incidents, citing operational reasons, Indonesian authorities have confirmed several boats have been turned or towed back in that time.
The federal government does not count them as arrivals requiring transfers because the people returned to Indonesia instead.
According to the government, the last time a similar period of no transfers occurred was between January and March of 2009 when the Rudd government started relaxing border protection measures.
Mr Morrison last night said he had increasing confidence his policy measures were working, even though he conceded there was more work to do.
He said over the first 100 days the Coalition had pushed down arrivals to about 300 a month - close to the level of the 2010 election - and had now wound back the arrival numbers to the early Rudd era.
"This takes us back close to the starting line on boat arrivals, with it being five years since there was such a period of time with no arrivals," Mr Morrison said.
"Between January and March of 2009 was the last time there has been a longer period with no arrivals. That was when things started to ramp up.
"We are repairing the damage - that means getting us back to what it was like before Rudd and Gillard's border chaos wreaked havoc."
Although the government is aware arrivals do slow during the monsoon season, there were 357 people who arrived on five boats in the first 23 days of January last year.
The population on Christmas Island yesterday was 1909 people, the first time it has been under 2000 people since February last year when monthly reports began and the total was 1224 people.
In March last year, the total rose to 2251 detainees and had stayed above 2000 since.

Mildura Brewery goes ahead with anti ANZAC "comedian" Catherine Deveny
RSL angry as Catherine Deveny comedy show goes on

The Daily Telegraph
May 02, 2013 12:00AM
THE owners of a Mildura bar have stuck by the scheduled appearance of controversial comedian Catherine Deveny tomorrow night despite demands of a boycott following her anti-Anzac Day outburst.
Mildura Brewery co-owners Stefano DePieri and Donatta Carozza have attracted the scorn of locals and the Mildura RSL after they refused to cancel Deveny's show.
Deveny, who was famously sacked by Fairfax Media in 2010 after making disparaging comments about Rove McManus' late wife Belinda Emmett, claims she has also been the subject of death threats in the wake of comments published on her Twitter feed.
In the tweets which sparked the outcry, Deveney wrote that "Days like #anzacday are simply a rewriting of history to stop the sucked in and ripped off burning down parliament and killing politicians."
She added: "I would like to see parades, medals and glorification for survivors of domestic violence, mental illness and sexual abuse #anzacday."
Mildura RSL branch president Alec Ouchirenko said this week: "It just makes me feel sick in the stomach for someone to run down the Anzac tradition the way she is."

Labors Green Loon Sen. Sarah Hanson Young, Gets Ripped a New Arse Hole by Ray Hadley
Greens Senator Sarah Hanson-Young won't say sorry to Ray Hadley
Simon Black
The Daily Telegraph
March 02, 2013 12:00AM
GREENS Senator Sarah Hanson-Young has refused to apologise for an attack against broadcaster Ray Hadley on the ABC's Lateline program - despite the show's presenter Tony Jones defending Hadley yesterday.
Tony Jones and Sen. Sarah Hanson Young on "Their ABC" Lateline.
Ms Hanson-Young accused Hadley of a "horrid" display of "irresponsibility" in his commentary on asylum seekers during her appearance on Lateline on Thursday night.
"Hadley ... went on air saying these people are doing these bad things," Ms Hanson-Young said.
"These people obviously referring to the entire community of asylum seekers on bridging visas rather than understanding that this was one particular incident."
The "incident" she referred to was the sexual assault of a Macquarie University student, allegedly by a Sri Lankan refugee.
Hadley angrily refuted Ms Hanson-Young's claims on his program yesterday.
"Never, in any stage, did I say these people are doing these bad things," he said. "(Ms Hanson-Young) you lied to Tony Jones last night, you lied to the audience of the ABC."
Hadley said rather than "demonising" asylum seekers, he was responsible for removing a group of them from squalid living conditions in a disused office."I'm the one that identified the sort of conditions these people are being housed in and hopefully they won't be housed in them any further," he said.
Yesterday, Jones told The Daily Telegraph he had reviewed the material and found "no evidence of (Hadley) making racist remarks" during an on-air interview with opposition immigration spokesman Scott Morrison. He also commended Hadley and his team's investigation, stating they "did conduct good journalism in exposing the slum-like conditions asylum seekers on bridging visas are forced to endure".
But Jones said he still had concerns and stressed the broadcaster had a responsibility not to use a single case of sexual abuse to exaggerate the threat posed by asylum seekers in the community.
"To do that would risk demonising the very people he said he's trying to help," he said.
Hadley yesterday demanded an apology from Ms Hanson-Young, who refused to provide it.
"The person who needs to apologise is Ray Hadley," she said. "People are responding to his comments on radio even just this morning, saying that the only good refugee is a dead one."
A spokesperson for Ms Hanson-Young later said the comment about dead refugees was not said on air, but was emailed to the senator's office. He was not able to provide detail on how Ms Hanson-Young had linked the email to Hadley's show.

Sleeping University Student Assaulted
Chris Maher,
Updated February 22, 2013, 6:30 pm
A Macquarie University student who lives on campus has been indecently assaulted in her bed by an intruder.
The attack has left her traumatised, and other female students living in fear.
While the intruder hasn't been identified, they want asylum seekers moved out of their student accommodation.
Police forensics show where the intruder forced his way into campus accomodation in the early hours yesterday, and enterred the woman's room.
Friends at Macquarie University, who did not wish to be identified, said she woke to find the man at the end of her bed.
"She was screaming at him to get out, she she fought back and chased him," one friend said.
Police are investigating an indecent assault and have issued a description for a man aged 20 to 25.
The man has dark skin, dark hair, is of slim build and was only wearing grey tracksuit pants.
But the incident has sparked student complaints, with about up to 80 Sri Lankan refugees housed temporarily on campus.
The University says it could have been anyone.
"You just got to look around you its an open campus, part of embracing the community is that people come and go."
The Federal Opposition says there are up to 10,000 asylum seekers waiting for approval to stay. It questions whether university's are the right place.
"That question about its appropriateness is not even asked by the Government," Shadow Immigration Minister Scott Morrison said.

FORMER speaker Peter Slipper has this morning denied allegations he was last night kicked out of a Sydney bar, frequented by members of the gay community, for being drunk.
A bar worker claimed on Facebook "just threw out a drunken Peter Slipper from my main bar," 2GB host Ray Hadley revealed today.
The post drew replies such as "the joys of Tuesday night celebrities" and "who's Peter Slipper?"
Mr Slipper was said to have been drunk at the Oxford Hotel bar in Oxford St, Darlinghurst - a claim he strongly denies.
"What you suggest is untrue and highly defamatory," he told News Ltd via text message.
"The claims are completely untrue."
The hotel's motto is "catering for our community" with the iconic pub supporting high-profile events such as the Mardis Gras and gay and lesbian sports organisations.

Ray Hadley, the Brilliant Joe Hildebrand and Jonathan Holmes Media Watch
EXCLUSIVE: Media Watch and me - The incredible untold story
Joe Hildebrand
Daily Telegraph
Tuesday, September 18, 2012 (6:25pm)
There is an argument that responding to Twitter trolls just gives unnecessary attention to vindictive people with a tiny audience. The same could be said of responding to Media Watch but in the interests of editorial consistency let’s give it a go anyway.
Media Watch has an agenda against the Telegraph. One of many humourless ironies about the program is that it is guilty of the same editorial bias it constantly accuses others of having.
That much is fine: It can think whatever it wants. The problem is that Media Watch presents itself as an impartial arbiter of journalistic standards and some naive and sequestered people in the community—such as my mum and the Gillard Government—actually believe it.
The reason I know Media Watch distorts facts in order to pursue a particular vendetta is because for a long time they pursued one against me. I don’t say this to fish for any sympathy, but just to give some context to the show’s latest canning of the Tele on Monday night.
Joe is not the only one who has troubles with Media Watch 2GB's Ray Hadley alluded to this encounter with this pampered pooches and their banshees
My love affair with Media Watch began in 2007 when a ``researcher’’ called asking for a contact number for a family in a story I’d written. The yarn rapped Fairfax over the knuckles for running ads that praised a cult leader accused of child sex abuse. I happily handed over the number only to discover that when Media Watch ran the story it did so as though it had discovered the outrage itself and did not credit the Telegraph article that prompted it, let alone the paper’s assistance.
I wrote to them saying I thought this deeply unfair and they responded with words to the effect that it was not their job to report on the media every time it got things right.
The following year Media Watch attempted to score points off the deaths of six people in a Sydney Harbour boating accident. It accused the Telegraph and other outlets of wrongly referring to one of the victims by her second name instead of her first and even suggested that this mistake caused distress to her grieving family.
As it happened the young woman was a friend of a friend of mine and so I sent the program a letter telling them that, like Gough Whitlam and Paul McCartney (and indeed one John Joseph Hildebrand), she was in fact known by her second name. Media Watch later corrected the report but offered no apology to us—or the family whose distress they were once so concerned about.
It was not long after this second interaction that Media Watch suddenly took an intense interest in my reporting.
Half-baked smears included suggesting that I had invented swine flu projection figures that were in fact contained in an official NSW Health report and which were confirmed by two independent experts _ one of whom later backflipped after the government tried to hose down the story.
In another report I did on measures which reduced P-plater deaths by a quarter, Media Watch accused me of saying all but a quarter of P-platers died on the road.
A third involved an error made by another reporter in an item I was told to put in a gossip column I used to do. Not willing to dob in a colleague, I placed a correction in the column the following week saying only the error had occurred during production and was not made by me. In a nudge-nudge wink-wink way Media Watch hinted that I was lying. Nasty, biased and wrong.
Again, I say this only to provide concrete examples of Media Watch manipulating facts in an effort to fuel prejudice against this newspaper and its writers.
Which brings us to this week’s hatchet job. As all readers will know, The Telegraph has been waging a campaign against trolls and cyberbullying on social media. A huge number of people support it, some do not.
The problem for Media Watch is that it couldn’t just say it disagreed with the campaign and accepted online abuse as a price of free speech. It couldn’t admit that in recent years the show has gone from digging up genuine media scandals to pontificating from behind a desk like a televised version of Crikey.
Instead it tried to claim that we had somehow got it wrong or were hypocritical or deliberately omitted facts.
First it suggested that we had failed to advise our readers to block trolls. This is just rubbish. Even before the launch of the campaign we ran a story whose very headline ran ``Deny trolls attention and they fade away’’. Two days later we said: ``Social media sites advise users who are attacked online to block trolls or simply switch off’’ but added that some users found this difficult. The same day a page three article quoted a Twitter spokeswoman’s advice: ``If there is something that you don’t agree with, or find insulting, it’s best to block that user.’’
On Saturday a story in the sports section—which perhaps nobody at Media Watch has ever read—was headlined ``Sign off from abuse’’. On Monday, the very morning Media Watch went to air, we ran a column by UTS psychologist Rachael Murrihy across almost an entire page that concluded: ``Block the person and contact the ISP host to have posts removed if possible.’’
Media Watch failed to mention any of this. Either it didn’t do its research (again) or it deliberately ignored it.
Even more cute was that it clumsily attempted to perform a little bit of wedge politics by playing a grab from my esteemed colleague Tory Maguire from The Punch telling Sky News she disagreed with the Tele’s campaign. In a refreshing departure from the usual conspiracy theory that News Limited staff are all working in concert to advance some sinister agenda, Media Watch suggested that because some News Limited staff had a difference of opinion this weakened our position.
Fine. Except what Media Watch didn’t say was that I was sitting right next to Tory on that very same show, at the very same time, discussing the very same topic. Seconds after Tory spoke I outlined exactly the point of the Telegraph’s campaign, encouraging abuse victims to block trolls and also explaining why sometimes blocking did not work.
But did Media Watch show even a token grab of that? No. Did it even tell its viewers I was there? No.
The purpose of the Telegraph’s campaign is to support victims of cyber bullying and abuse and bolster protections where merely blocking and reporting is either not enough or comes too late. It is not just about celebrities—or improbably handsome celebrity columnists—but even more so ordinary people who are less equipped to handle it. Like other anti-bullying campaigns we have simply utilised celebrities to spread awareness and let other victims know that they are not alone.
It does not call for new laws, it does not call for censorship and it does not, as Media Watch suggested in a link so tenuous it would make a Hollywood screenwriter blush, have anything to do with Andrew Bolt.
All of this we could have easily explained to Media Watch and saved them the embarrassment of their confused, selective and erroneous story. But as far as anyone at this newspaper can tell they made no attempt to contact us for a response.
All over the country ever-shrinking newsrooms struggle to keep up with the 24-hour media cycle and the ever-increasing demands of media’s brave new world. Journalists are working harder than ever to hold on to their jobs and keep news and information flowing to a hungry public. Media Watch, meanwhile, has a dedicated staff of 11 people whose sole job it is to hang shit on them for 15 minutes a week.
You’d think they could at least do a better job of it than that.
