Warning to all Muslims the world over seeking asylum and protection from the manifestations of their faith.
Do not under any circumstances come to Australia, for we are a Nation founded upon Judeo Christian Law and principles and as such Australia is an anathema to any follower of the Paedophile Slave Trader Mohammad's cult of Islam.
There is no ideology more hated and despised in Australia than Islam. You simply would not like it here.

Lord, I come before You with a heavy heart. I feel so much and yet sometimes I feel nothing at all. I don't know where to turn, who to talk to, or how to deal with the things going on in my life. You see everything, Lord. You know everything, Lord. Yet when I seek you it is so hard to feel You here with me. Lord, help me through this. I don't see any other way to get out of this. There is no light at the end of my tunnel, yet everyone says You can show it to me. Lord, help me find that light. Let it be Your light. Give me someone to help. Let me feel You with me. Lord, let me see what You provide and see an alternative to taking my life. Let me feel Your blessings and comfort. Amen.

"The chief weapon in the quiver of all Islamist expansionist movements, is the absolute necessity to keep victims largely unaware of the actual theology plotting their demise. To complete this deception, a large body of ‘moderates’ continue to spew such ridiculous claims as “Islam means Peace” thereby keeping non-Muslims from actually reading the Qur’an, the Sira, the Hadith, or actually looking into the past 1400 years of history. Islamists also deny or dismiss the concept of ‘abrogation’, which is the universal intra-Islamic method of replacing slightly more tolerable aspects of the religion in favor of more violent demands for Muslims to slay and subdue infidels"
The 23-year-old Muslim wrote of her desire to become a martyr and listed her favourite videos as the "beheading ones".

ROCK'N'ROLL bad boy Gary Angry Anderson believes life experience has taught him "Aussies use their fists" when they fight and that "weapons were introduced by other cultures".
The former Rose Tattoo frontman's comments before a Parliamentary inquiry in Canberra yesterday have experts describing his views as "pure fantasy" and ignoring "the realities of life".
Anderson, 63, was adamant he's not racist and said politically correct bureaucrats were getting in the way of progress when it comes to preventing youth violence.
“We Can’t be Beaten”
"The racial thing, the cultural thing needs to be addressed because it's not going to go away," he told a Federal Parliamentary Committee into the impact of violence on youth.
"You never kick a bloke when he's down . . . you don't gang up on a bloke. These things are Australian and we shouldn't shy away from being Australian."
The father of four said he had taught his sons these principles and said "other cultures" had introduced weapons, including the Lebanese, Indochinese and Pacific Islanders.
"We have to acknowledge that they have a different view about how they deal with each other," he said.
"It's not untoward for them to turn up to a fight with a hatchet."
"To suggest that if people of a particular kind of culture weren't here a particular kind of violence wouldn't occur is pure fantasy," Mr Kerkyasharian said.
"To suggest a type of violence didn't exist before is purely ignoring the realities of life."
Australian Race Discrimination commissioner Graham Innes agreed with Anderson that "some violence in Australia has a racial aspect" but said it had been going on since the goldfields in the 19th century.
"We need a zero-tolerance policy from government to say that multicultural violence is not tolerated," Mr Innes said.
"Violence amongst racial groups is not new - the white settlers were violent towards Aboriginal people."
Outside Parliament, Anderson, who has worked with numerous youth charities, said he grew up in '80s Australia when "Aussie kids didn't use weapons".
"We've got to tell Lebanese kids and Indochinese kids that it might be all right where you come from but it's not all right here," he said.
"To suggest that if people of a particular kind of culture weren't here a particular kind of violence wouldn't occur is pure fantasy," Mr Kerkyasharian said.
The only fantasy here Mr Kerkyasharian, is the belief in Multiculturalism, a belief in a social structure where the host culture is legally cannabalised by the inferior cultures, indeed proven failed culrtures of colonialist who’s own culture was so good they RAN AWAY from it.
These colonialists and cultural assassins from many and varied failed cultures, are not happy with been given sanctuary in Australia, no, not at all, they and the likes of Mr Kerkyasharian immediately start eating away at Australia and it’s institutions, demanding they be given every right, and indeed legal sanction, to impose upon Australia the very same culture, social structures and beliefs that they say made their own countries un liveable for them and their families.
In recent days following the conviction and jailing of Australian based Islamic Terrorists, their supporters and various members of the Multicultural Industry and their left wing fifth column apologists, declared Australia an uncivilized country.
Please do us both a favour now and go back to your mud huts jungle caves and Middle Eastern Islamic run shit holes.
Australians NEVER invited you here, you were imported by the Australian Labor Party, clothed fed and housed, placed on the social security tit for life in exchange for your vote and let off your leash on unsuspecting Australians to set up your own territories on Australian soil paid for by Australians.
The criminal and anti social behaviour that comes so naturally to you, as is seen everywhere on earth the rotting dead corpse of Multiculturalism casts its shadow, was no secret to your sponsors and facilitators in the Australian Labor Party their financiers the Australian Council of Trade Unions and the “beautiful people” of Australia aka. the infamous “Progressives”
Professional Multiculturalists in Australia, are people, who, after having run away from the manifestations of their own cultural / Religious / Governance structures and belief’s are so pig ignorant and stupid as not to realise that the reason they ran away from their “homeland” was simply because it was NOT like Australia…. if it was then why are they here ? and what is their purpose in been here ? if the objectives of Multiculturalism are achieved in Australia where will these flag of convenience colonialists RUN AWAY to next?
Under the Hoax of Multiculturalism the western world is fast becoming equally as unliveable and dangerous as the third world and Islamic shit holes the left’s fifth column insists on recruiting “ethnic citizens” from for importing into the west.
Angry Anderson will no doubt pay for his forthright and honest comments.
He deserves the support of all Australians for having the guts to stand and say what any Australian will tell you.
Australia abstains in UN vote on Israel over war crimes investigation
Mark Dodd and John Lyons The Australian March 01, 2010 12:00AM
AUSTRALIA has abstained from a key UN vote supporting a war crimes investigation of Israel's military assault on Gaza last year, three months after voting against the resolution.
Foreign Minister Stephen Smith said yesterday the decision was unrelated to "recent events", a reference to Canberra's anger at Israel's failure to explain the use of three Australian passports by suspects in the murder in Dubai of a senior Palestinian militant.
Israel has neither confirmed nor denied the involvement of its spy agency Mossad in the killing of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, which Dubai police say involved 26 people travelling on false passports from four nations.
However, Israel said last night it would provide whatever assistance was needed by any Australian investigation into the misuse of its passports.
"There's nothing we have to fear here, we've nothing to hide," said Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor.
On Friday, the UN General Assembly considered a follow-up resolution to the Goldstone report on the Gaza conflict, which was passed with 98 countries voting in favour, seven against and 31 abstaining.
Australia is traditionally one of Israel's strongest supporters at the UN, and Canberra denied its decision to abstain was related to the passports affair.
"The Australian government always considers UN resolutions on a case-by-case basis and on their merits," Mr Smith said. "Australian abstained on this resolution because . . . it did not endorse the Goldstone report.
"Our vote on the resolution was neither determined nor influenced by recent events."
But the decision appears to mark a hardening of Australia's stand on the Middle East peace process and frustration at the lack of progress by both sides to resume negotiations.
It could be seen as a signal to Jerusalem not to take Australia's friendship for granted.
Mahmoud Al Mabhouh “Drugged and suffocated” what a humane way to dispose of this piece of Trash, why was he not locked in a cell and told that sometime in the future a series of bombs would blow a few limbs off one at a time, until he eventually bled to death a week or so later.
Opposition foreign affairs spokeswoman Julie Bishop accused the government of downgrading its support for Israel, telling Fairfax: "I don't understand the government's change of heart."
Speaking on the Ten Network's Meet the Press program yesterday, terrorism expert Clive Williams said he had little doubt Mossad was responsible for the Dubai assassination. "I don't think there is much doubt Israel was responsible for the simple reason they haven't denied it," Professor Williams said.
Opposition defence spokesman Bob Baldwin said Israel owed Australia a "deep apology" if Mossad was responsible.
It was right for Australia to vote against the motion in the most disgraceful cabal of despots and thugs that is the United Nations.
Cowardly Cur Rudd shames Australia.
Beijing’s man on the ground in Australia, Australian PM Kevin 07 Rudd, aka Lu Kewen facing rapidly declining popularity polls Rudd,Lu Kewen has fallen back into line and has adopted the lefts traditional attack Israel mode.
Had Israel not been accused of eliminating a Muslim Terrorist Thug from the face of the earth, would Rudd have ordered Australia abstain from voting for the UN’s war crimes investigation of Israel's military assault on Gaza last year?
Perhaps abstaining from voting was a compromise for his UN masters, after all Rudd, aka Lu Kewen has his eye on the top job at the UN after the Australian voters throw him out of office later this year.
MANSOUR Leghaei, the Iranian cleric twice declared a security threat by ASIO, has been given 28 days to leave the country after an immigration appeals tribunal rejected his final application to remain in Australia.
Dr Leghaei
For more than a decade, Dr Leghaei has been contesting in the courts two adverse security assessments issued by ASIO, which it is understood believes the cleric is an Iranian operative. Dr Leghaei's battle to remain in Australia has won high-profile backing, with Attorney-General Robert McClelland writing two character references for the Sydney-based sheik, one of which challenged ASIO's findings.
But on Friday, the Migration Review Tribunal upheld a decision by the Immigration Department denying the sheik a residency visa.
As a result, the department has cancelled Dr Leghaei's bridging visa, giving him 28 days to leave.
A spokesman for Immigration Minister Chris Evans said ASIO had indicated it had no objection to Dr Leghaei remaining at large in the community while he finalised his affairs. "Dr Leghaei should now make arrangements to depart Australia. The department will seek to engage with Dr Leghaei in the coming weeks to facilitate his departure," he said.
Multicultural TV’s report.
The spokesman said the tribunal's decision also applied to Dr Leghaei's wife and one of his adult children, meaning their bridging visas would also be cancelled in 28 days.
At least one of Dr Leghaei's children was born in Australia.
During his hearing, the sheik argued little weight should be given to ASIO's assessment as the agency had refused to provide the reasons underpinning it.
But the tribunal ruled that, while sympathetic to Dr Leghaei's predicament, it lacked the authority to examine or overrule ASIO's judgment.
Mr McClelland wrote a reference for Dr Leghaei in 1997 while an opposition backbencher. He described the sheik as an asset to the Australian and Muslim communities.
"I was most surprised to learn that Sheik Leghaei's application had been rejected on the failure to satisfy part 4002 of Schedule 4 of the Migration Regulations, that is the public-interest criteria," Mr McClelland wrote.
But ASIO, which reports to Mr McClelland as Attorney-General, has taken a different view for more than a decade.
The Australian understands the agency still considers Dr Leghaei a security threat and has refused to undertake another assessment of him. Aside from his links with Iran, it is understood ASIO has concerns about Dr Leghaei's alleged knowledge of Ahlul Bait, a French terrorist organisation.
Dr Leghaei has repeatedly denied he has been a spy for Iran or is a threat to security. But his 1997 residency application was denied on public-interest grounds after ASIO found against him, and in 2002 the agency formally issued an adverse security assessment.
In 2004, a second adverse security assessment was handed down. Despite the concerns, Dr Leghaei has lived freely since arriving in Australia in 1994. At one point he did not even have a valid visa, meaning that in addition to being a security threat, he was living unlawfully in Australia.
Dr Leghaei could not be contacted for comment.
Australians saved from our Rudd Government Labor Party,Attorney General Robert McClelland by ASIO.
Thanks to ASIO this piece of shit will be removed from Australian soil within 28 days, hopefully he will not be the last to be thrown out of the country notwithstanding the Rudd Governments belief, that he and his kind are
"... an asset to the Australian and Muslim communities."
Thank you ASIO, it is good to know that ASIO is looking out for Australia

The opposition says that the leader is all talk and no action. It takes an aggressive stance of confronting him on just about everything, giving him nothing. His spending is out of control and he loves bureaucracy and big government, it cries.
It opposes all his main initiatives, attacking his stimulus spending, his climate change plan and his moves towards health reform.
This describes the approach Tony Abbott's opposition is taking to Kevin Rudd. It also captures perfectly the Republican Party's assault on Barack Obama in the United States.
And it has worked like a charm for the Republicans. Obama's approval rating has been torn to shreds over the past year. Will the same strategy work against Rudd?
Abbott's angry confrontationalism moved a US commentator, Norm Ornstein of the conservative American Enterprise Institute, to quip that "We may have a place for Tony Abbott here".
The similarities between the Australian Prime Minister and the US President have often been noted. Politically, Kevin Rudd and Barack Obama are new leaders from the progressive side.
Geopolitically, they are in agreement on the big issues of our time - winding back the effort in Iraq, intensifying the campaign in Afghanistan, responding to the global economic crisis, dealing with climate change.
Personally, they are younger-generation leaders - Rudd is 52 and Obama 48 - just as their respective predecessors, John Howard, now 70, and George Bush, 63, are of the same generation.
And Obama and Rudd just happen to click. As the Obama administration's top Asia policy official in the State Department, Kurt Campbell, told me in August: "One of the most interesting things to observe is which leaders - philosophically and in terms of temperament and approach to issues - bond initially with American presidents over the years. At the top of the list right now is Prime Minister Rudd.''
“And Obama and Rudd just happen to click.
Who is Hussein Obama, and what is Beijing’s man on the ground in Australia,Australian PM Lu Kewen aka. “Kevin 07” Rudd so attracted to,in the Hussein Obama persona ?
And now the convergence of Australian and US politics is extending beyond the leaders to embrace their oppositions, too.
Tony Abbott has shot new testosterone into the Australian opposition. Its every muscle and nerve-ending twitches with intensified tension and hostility. Where Malcolm Turnbull was prepared to work with the government in several areas, Abbott would much rather confront it.
So where Turnbull negotiated a compromise with Rudd on climate change, Abbott tore it up angrily and accused Rudd of wanting to put "a great big new tax on everything".
Where Turnbull was content to go quiet on industrial relations and allow Rudd his way, Abbott has this week brought on a new fight. Abbott even refused to honour the Coalition's commitment to a bipartisan approach on homelessness this week. No detail is too small, it seems, for Abbott to oppose. And he is attacking everything he sees because it's all a part of the Rudd edifice, a structure Abbott is dedicating to denying and damaging. He has called Rudd dishonest, deceptive and a serial promise-breaker, a toxic bore, a prime minister who hides behind a "wall of incomprehensible words and an army of spin doctors".
Abbott has taken opposition to an entirely new level. It's the same level the Republicans have been on for a year now. A prominent analyst, Tom Mann of the Democrat-connected Brookings Institution in Washington, describes it this way: "Republican strategy is crystal clear and consistent - it's to kill or discredit every achievement or objective of Obama's to drive down his approval rating as the pathway to a Republican comeback. It's as simple as that, and boy it's been effective. They see the route for the Republican minority to become the majority is through a diminished president."
Obama started in the presidency with an approval rating of 68 per cent, according to Gallup, one of the best in the post war era, second only to John F. Kennedy's. By the end of last year it was 49 per cent, equal worst showing for a post war president at the end of his first year, tied with Ronald Reagan.
And voting intentions for the Congress, for which elections are due on November 2, puts Obama's Democrats neck-and-neck with the Republicans. "If it continues like this, the Democrats could lose their substantial majorities in both houses," Mann says.
Giving an example of the discipline and intensity of the Republican campaign, he cites denying Obama a victory on his signature reform, health insurance.
As the Democrats' Senator Max Baucus was agonising to negotiate a bipartisan deal in the Senate to get the Obama bills through, the Republican senators were called together and told, ''If you agree to anything that isn't supported by at least 70 per cent of our caucus, you will lose your ranking status," in Senate committees, the gatekeeper posts for access to tax dollars and the power of patronage. "It was really hardball," Mann says. The Baucus effort failed.
In the US, politicians customarily have enormous discretion in how they choose to vote on legislation. Unlike the Australian system of tight party discipline, it's quite normal for them to vote against a party position.
But no longer, not for Republicans. Ornstein concurs: "The Republicans are treating the system as if it were a parliamentary system, behaving like a parliamentary minority."
There is a dual convergence here. Under Abbott, the Coalition is adopting the Republican mode of obstructionism. And the Republicans are adopting the parliamentary habit of tight party discipline.
This is the first portent that should worry Rudd's government. This combination that worked against Obama is now working against him.
But it wasn't just the Republicans. Obama and the Democrats must take some blame for the failure of their reform. As the negotiations on the bills ground on for months, "the Democrats were not campaigning," says Mann. "They were just waiting for an outcome. In the meantime, all the excitement was lost in their liberal base because Obama and the Democrats were busy making concessions to the Republicans and the moderates to win support for the bill."
Sound familiar? This is a reasonably good summary of how Rudd lost popular support for the signature reform of his first term, his emissions trading system. He stopped campaigning for public support for a year while he negotiated his bills, and meanwhile public support slipped far enough for the opposition to change its mind and dump the plan.
This is the second portent that should trouble the Rudd government. The failure - to date - of Obama's signature reform has been central to the sense of pointlessness and failure that has washed over the Democrats.
The failure - to date - of Rudd's signature reform has damaged his standing and that of Labor, a mood and a trend that he needs to arrest and to counter lest he arrives at the same point as Obama. And Rudd can't do it by just pretending the ETS debacle never happened. If he walks away from the ETS and "the great moral and economic challenge of our time," he will have no credibility on any other reform.
The Democrats are losing not only on their prized legislation but also in the so-called "message wars". Most Americans are convinced the government stimulus spending was a giant waste of money, even though there is credible economic opinion that it helped stave off a more brutal downturn.
Rudd faces the beginning of a similar problem here. The Coalition accuses him of promising everything and achieving nothing. And although Rudd has a long list of achievements, he has failed to log many of them in the public consciousness.
A phenomenon of right-wing politics in the US today is the Tea Party. This is a mass movement of populist discontent, egged on by conservative media stars, fuming at what they suspect to be a socialist government conspiracy to take over the country and reduce citizens to serfdom. It's named after the Boston Tea Party of 1773, when American settlers rebelled against British taxes on tea. It was a harbinger of the American Revolution.
The New York Times this week called the contemporary Tea Party a "sprawling rebellion". The paper reported: "Some Tea Party groups are essentially appendages of the local Republican Party. But most are not. They are frequently led by political neophytes who prize independence and tell strikingly similar stories of having been awakened by the recession."
That's something that couldn't happen in Australia, right? Not necessarily. "It reminds me of your experience in Queensland a few years ago," says Mann, recalling Pauline Hanson and One Nation.
Australia has gained another populist Queensland right-winger, the shadow finance minister, Barnaby Joyce, who stumped up a storm of populist anger against the ETS, and is now campaigning against government debt and the size of government.
The Rudd government is in a much stronger political position than the Democrats in the US. The economy here is stronger and unemployment is half the US level. On current polling numbers, Rudd would be easily re-elected.
But the American experience has enough parallels, and the Democrats enough travails, to carry a sobering portent for Labor. And a thrill of hope for Abbott.
Federal Opposition Leader, and hopefully the next Australian Prime Minister,Tony Abbott escapes DEATH by Semi Trailer today on the Princes Highway at Winchelsea this morning.
A mid sized bus pulled out from behind Mr Abbott’s vehicle into the path of the semi trailer, Kudos to the Truck Driver for some really skill full driving to keep it all together and so far no reports of any injuries.
BREAKING NEWS: A JURY has found Kaihana Hussain, 20, not guilty of murdering her mother and trying to kill her father.
Hussain, 20, had pleaded not guilty to murdering Shaheda Yasmeen Hussain, 41, and attempting to murder her father, Muhammad Hussain, now 53, on October 9, 2006.
She had also pleaded not guilty to an alternate charge of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm to Muhammad Hussain.
The prosecution alleged Kaihana Hussain attacked her parents to gain more freedom so she could convert from Islam to Christianity and move to Sydney to be with her boyfriend.
"Under cross-examination by defence lawyer Dennis Lynch, Mr Hussain said he was "very angry" his daughter planned to convert from Islam to Christianity and disapproved of her relationship with university student Benjamin Miles Thomas Brady," reports AAP.
Shaheda Hussain died at the scene of the attack at the family's Gold Coast unit but Muhammad Hussain was saved after operations on a severe stomach stab wound.
Hussain sobbed in the dock as she waited for the jury to enter the court room.
During the trial, the jury heard Hussain told police she saw her father use a knife to stab his wife twice at the family's rented apartment in Southport, on the Gold Coast.
In the interview, Hussain told police she had taken her father into the bedroom and blindfolded him so she could give him a ``surprise'' gift she brought back from a trip to Bangladesh.
She said while she was looking for the present in another room she could hear her parents arguing.
Her father was talking ``quite aggressively'', she said.
``The next thing I knew, and this happened within like a split second, my dad had the knife in his hand and he stabbed my mum,'' the court heard that she'd told police.
She said when her father came after her he bore a stab wound.
But Dr Hussain denied, under defence questioning, being the one who carried out the attack.

SYDNEY Muslims are ''angry and frustrated'' at the severity of the sentences meted out to five men convicted of terrorism offences, say community elders who worry that the strict penalties will serve to radicalise more young Islamic men.
“Moderate Islamic Community Leader” Ikebal Patel
''The penalties, while they are warranted, they seem really harsh,'' said the president of the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils, Ikebal Patel. ''There is a real possibility that this might alienate some members of the Muslim community … there's a lot of frustration and anger.''
On Monday Justice Anthony Whealy of the Supreme Court sentenced the five men from Sydney's west to jail terms of up to to 28 years.
Justice Whealy admitted there was insufficient evidence the men intended to kill, comments seized upon by Keysar Trad, chairman of the Islamic Friendship Association of Australia.
''Even if they had talked about things like this,'' Mr Trad said, ''it is very likely that there would have been a very large number of points along the way where they would have reconsidered because they didn't want to kill anybody.''
Mr Trad added: ''It seems our standard has changed from proving a crime beyond reasonable doubt to the possibility that they might have intended to commit a crime.''
But what of the stockpile of weapons, ammunition and potential explosives?
''That doesn't translate into a wilful intent to commit an act of terrorism,'' he said.
Sheikh Khalil Chami of the Islamic Welfare Centre in Lakemba regularly visited the convicted terrorist conspirators, who range in age from 25 to 44, in jail. He is certain they were radicalised in Sydney.
“……….It has not been easy and they remember 1998 as their worst year when Trad fell in love - "became obsessed", his wife says - with another woman. In desperation, Hanifeh proposed marriage on her husband's behalf to the other woman. "We were having a terrible time. He fell in love and I wasn't thinking about myself," she says. But his obsession passed. "He became more compassionate after it," Hanifeh says. "God meant for him to go through this experience and it made him a better person and more emotionally aware. It knocked him off his perch."
The sight of Andrew Ferguson bemoaning the appalling situation shown in the Today Tonight story is a little rich even for the Union movement, the situation arose because of THEIR Governments policies.
See more golden threads of some of the worlds great cultures woven into Australia’s rich tapestry of Multiculturalism
The Occupied Territories of Australia, Melbourne, according to it’s socialist state Labor Government is the “safest city in Australia”, and it’s leader has “never seen a gang”
Maybe the Government should have some more “Harmony Days” or more Multicultural Community BBQ’s.
Mr Twentyman must feel uncomfortable playing the role of a “fireman” after so many years advocating social policies that have caused so much of the environment he now finds so unacceptable.
FAMILY members have criticised the sentences handed out in Sydney's terrorism trial, saying murderers get less.
"That's a very big sentence," said the sister of the youngest of five Muslim men sentenced to maximum terms of between 23 and 28 years.
"Not even murderers get sentenced that much.
"Twenty-three years, that's half of his life," she said of the sentence imposed on her 25-year-old brother.
"It's not fair to him, our community or our religion."
Relatives of some of the other men yelled out expletives as they heard the sentences via closed-circuit TV outside the court room at Parramatta.
One woman began sobbing as two men shouted "f#^<" and left the building.
The sister, who said she attended every day of the 10-month trial, said she believed her brother was innocent.
"He was not planning any mass murder or terrorist attack," she said.
"He is no extremist; the only extremists are people like ASIO, they go way deep."
She said the jail sentences would only serve to strengthen the faith of the convicted men.
They would not cause a divide between Muslims and non-Muslims in the Australian community, or incite any other Muslims to take extremist action.
She read out a poem dedicated to her brother that said in part: "They handcuffed your spirit, they stole your freedom, they locked you up for a crime you didn't commit, they locked you up because you fit the script."
She said her brother would have "the last laugh" because the truth would come out before God on judgment day.
PUBLIC hospitals are turning away pregnant women because their maternity wards are full. Some big Sydney hospitals have introduced caps, limiting the number of bookings they will take from women with low-risk pregnancies.
Changes to the Medicare safety net that will exclude private obstetrics fees are expected to exacerbate the demand for beds, driven by the baby boom of recent years.
Obstetricians have been telling patients they have no hope of getting into some facilities such as Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPA), the busiest maternity unit in the State.
A Sydney South West Area Health Service spokeswoman said there had been a 40 per cent rise in the number of births at RPA between 2000 and 2005.
"To ensure the safety of all women and their babies, RPA gives priority to women with high-risk pregnancies and has introduced a cap on low-risk pregnancies," she said.
The Royal Hospital for Women, at Randwick, would take high-risk referrals from out-of-area women, but those with low-risk pregnancies who did not live in the area would be referred to their local hospital when the Royal did not have capacity, maternity services co-director Dr Daniel Challis said.
Westmead Hospital has also introduced caps for women who live outside the area.
Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists president Ted Weaver said public hospitals would have to cope with an extra 26,000 births this year as a result of the Medicare changes.
Obstetricians report a five to 10 per cent drop in demand since the changes took effect on January 1, but say the full impact will be felt in six months.
They fear that excluding private obstetrics from the safety net and limiting rebates to $463 a year will result in poorer outcomes for women.
"If hospitals are on bypass, the women will have to go somewhere else," Dr Weaver said last week.
"Every part of the system will be under strain."
Australian Medical Association president and gynaecologist Dr Andrew Pesce said women needed to book in early.
"Unless you book really early, you get fewer choices of the hospitals you can go to in the public system," Dr Pesce said.
"Eventually, if you leave it too late, there's only one you can go to - and that's in the area where you live."
Health Minister Nicola Roxon's spokeswoman said women concerned about fees should question their specialists.
"Where there was evidence that some specialists were taking advantage of the taxpayer-funded Medicare safety net to massively increase their fees, the Government moved to cap those costs," she said.
Until December 31 last year, women could claim 80 per cent of out-of-pocket obstetrics fees after reaching the safety- net threshold.
Debora Feijo, 36 weeks pregnant, plans to give birth at Royal North Shore because of the cost of a private obstetrician.
"We'd like to have a third child, but these Medicare changes will make it even more expensive," Ms Feijo said.
Have you been turned away from a public hospital?
COSTLY CHANGE
Until December 31, 2009: Able to claim 80 per cent of fees after reaching $1126 in out-of-pocket medical expenses
From January 1, 2010: Medicare rebates for obstetrics capped at $463
Private obstetricians report 5-10 per cent drop in business so far this year
Predictions an extra 26,000 babies will be born in public hospitals this year
Hey this Muslim immigration and Multiculturalism is simply fantastic ay?
No further evidence is needed to prove the treachery of the Australian lefts “Multiculturalism” and now the Rudd Labor Government’s “open borders” come one come all, substitute for border security.
A military strategy developed by the left fifth column in Australia some 30 years ago during the radical left wing Labor Government of E.G. Whitlam, Gough Whitlam, under this lunatic and his Communist Deputy PM Jim Cairns Australia was brought to the brink of economic and national security destruction.
The Australian Labor Party and their financiers the Australian Council of Trade Union’s (ACTU) mantra of all Cultures,Religions, beliefs are equal, now enters it 30th plus year of refutation and abject failure in Australia.
Australia has never been more divided and has never been a more dangerous place to live in, than it is these last 15 or 20 years,
Thanks Australian Labor Party,thanks ACTU.
Hands up any Australians who would like more illegal immigrants or more Muslim immigrants ? or more third world African immigrants setting up their own territories on Australian soil?
ABC 13 2 2010 The Opposition has ramped up calls for Peter Garrett to resign as Environment Minister, after he said he was warned imported insulation batts may contain dangerous levels of toxic chemicals.
Mr Garrett has been under fire in Parliament all week over the safety of the Federal Government's insulation program, with the Opposition saying he repeatedly ignored safety warnings about problems that led to the deaths of four insulation installers.
Now Mr Garrett has confirmed that an industry leader warned him cheap imported insulation reeked of formaldehyde and could generate toxic fumes when heated.
Warrick Batt says says he has had several meetings with Mr Garrett over the last six months and also raised concerns about whether the batts were being installed to Australian standards.
Mr Garrett says he has not seen any proof to back up claims that dangerous levels of chemicals were present in the insulation batts.
"We know that formaldehyde is used as a binding agent, but all batts have to conform to Australian standards and if products that conform to those standards and have the appropriate warnings then they're acceptable to go into ceilings," he said.
Opposition Environment spokesman Greg Hunt says he should be sacked.
"It's about standing up for the Australian people on the basis of safety," he said.
Mr Hunt says it should not be left to the insulation industry to produce the proof.
"Mr Garrett's program created the problem, created the need for importing Chinese batts and we know that there are potentially deadly Chinese batts," he said.
"Of course the Government should oversee its program.
"To blame the industry, to blame the installers and not to take responsibility is simple negligence and the Minister now, surely, must go."
Opposition leader Tony Abbott says the matter calls into question Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's competency.
"Someone has to take responsibility for the very, very serious maladministration of this program," he said.
"But every day Mr Rudd protects this incompetent Minister, his own Prime Ministership is called more into question."
Mr Garrett says he has Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's full support.

TAXPAYERS paid out more than $10 million on legal aid for a group of nine Sydney terrorists, the Government revealed yesterday.
Attorney-General Robert McClelland pointed to the extraordinary circumstances of the case: it took 11 months, with more than 3000 exhibits tendered and 300 witnesses.
But the Opposition condemned the spending, and said "thousands" of Australians were denied any legal assistance - let alone one million dollars. At a parliamentary committee hearing, the Government revealed the accused terrorists were given $10.1 million in legal aid.
Five of the accused were found guilty of conspiring to commit an act in preparation for a terrorist attack, while four pleaded guilty to lesser terrorism-related charges before the trial. Liberal Senator Guy Barnett, who uncovered the legal bill, questioned the Government's priorities.
"Most Australians would be shocked to realise that over $10 million in taxpayers' funds has been spent defending the rights of those convicted of terrorist offences," he said. "That's over $1 million defending the rights of each terrorist.
"What about the thousands of Australians around the country who [are refused] legal aid to assist in a family law matter, for example ... I wonder how they feel?"
Mr McClelland's department said the expenses had been met from the Expensive Commonwealth Criminal Cases Fund. The department described the fund as dedicated to Commonwealth criminal law cases and said it did "not impact on the level of Commonwealth funding available for other Commonwealth law matters".
A spokesman for Mr McClelland defended the $10 million legal aid bill.
Trials could be at risk "and justice could not be done" if an accused in a serious criminal trial had no proper legal representation.
Any decisions regarding individual grants of aid were matters for each legal aid commission and Mr McClelland did not intervene in the process, the spokesman added. Legal Aid NSW chief executive of Alan Kirkland said confidentiality provisions meant he could not detail why the case required so much legal aid funding. But he said the cost in any trial was based on the "length and complexity of the matter".
The terror arrests followed a series of raids in Sydney's southwest on November 8, 2005.

Fresh Thinking
My Name is Lu Kewen aka. Kevin, I’m from Queensland, and I’m here to help….. introduce Islamic Sharia Terrorist Financing into Australia, and remember what Simon said, start learning to ADAPT ………….that is, if you know what’s good for you.
It must be remembered, even if I forgot, that 2010 is an election year in Australia, and just as Lu Kewen’s Labor Union Funded Labor Party and it’s like minded International Socialist committed foreign governments and special interest groups aka. freedom fighters etc. around the world out spent the previous Howard government’s re election spending, I am sure Lu Kewen sees the facilitation of Sharia Banking in Australia as a prudent concession so close to an election campaign.
