"The chief weapon in the quiver of all Islamist expansionist movements, is the absolute necessity to keep victims largely unaware of the actual theology plotting their demise. To complete this deception, a large body of ‘moderates’ continue to spew such ridiculous claims as “Islam means Peace” thereby keeping non-Muslims from actually reading the Qur’an, the Sira, the Hadith, or actually looking into the past 1400 years of history. Turnbull calls for calm ahead of far-right wing protest at Parramatta mosque

Tyron Butson
9News

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has called for calm ahead of a far right protest outside the Parramatta mosque this afternoon and other similar planned rallies across the country, saying vilifying community groups is “contrary to our national interest”.

Tensions have been high since a police employee was gunned down by 15-year-old Farhad Jabar in Parramatta, prompting calls from far right and nationalist groups for protests against Islam.

Police earlier warned a protest in the Parramatta CBD would cause wide-spread road closures and traffic chaos.

This afternoon Mr Turnbull called for calm, saying Australia is a “harmonious” and “multicultural” country, dedicated to peace.

“Australia is the most successfully harmonious multicultural country in the world,” he told reporters today.

“And that is because of a fundamental Australia value: mutual respect.

"Respect is a two way street."

When asked about today’s rally, organised by the nationalist group Party for Freedom, Mr Turnbull suggested the group was stirring up trouble.

“If you are doing anything to vilify another group in the community, how are you doing anything but working in contrary to our national interest… working against our national interest?” he said.

Mr Turnbull called on all Australians, including Australia’s Islamic community, to fight radicalisation and extremism by education and “mutual respect”.

NSW police say Marsden Street, in between George and Macquarie Streets, may be closed between 4pm and 7pm as a result of a police operation surrounding the protest activity.

Superintendent Wayne Cox, Commander of Parramatta Local Area Command, has reminded the public that police have not authorised any formal applications for public assemblies in Parramatta today.

"NSW Police want to remind any member of the public against engaging in reprisal actions or inciting violence against any community group or individuals."

"Anyone engaging in this type of unlawful behaviour can be charged and prosecuted."

"As police, our message is that any act of violence, regardless of the motivation will not be tolerated, and will be treated as the serious offence that it is."

A Facebook page dedicated to the “Bulldoze the Mosque Rally” in Parramatta states that the group is also tired of “weak political leaders and their refusal to accept the truth that Islam is a terrorist ideology”.

A heavy police presence is expected as part of the operation.

"Equally the rights of citizen's to hold peaceful assemblies are balanced with other rights including the undertaking of lawful business activities and the safety and security of the broader community," Superintendent Cox said.

Prime Minister defends use of private email

SkyNews
Friday, 9 October 2015

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has defended his continuing use of non-government email, saying the nation's secrets are safe.

News Corp on Friday reported Mr Turnbull was running a private email server and using it for official business, rather than government IT systems. But Mr Turnbull told reporters he had sought advice on the situation, and sensitive communications were only sent through government channels.

He said many government ministers used private methods of communication including email and SMS messages, and to do otherwise would be impractical.

'To suggest that...every piece of Government or communication by a politician that relates to his or her office can only be transmitted on a government email account or to a government email account would mean you could never write a letter to your constituent, you could never use SMS,' he said.

Mr Turnbull said 'national classified information' had not been sent on 'services other than those approved for it'.

'Obviously any material that is classified or sensitive remains within the Government system,' he said.

He added that people shouldn't assume government email services are more secure than private ones.

Sydney man arrested over alleged shooting murder in Horsley Park of Palestinian immigrant

October 9 2015

Police have arrested a man over the alleged shooting murder of a man in Sydney's west earlier this year.

Saif Jouda had only been in Australia for three months when he was shot dead at the door of his Horsley Park home on April 23.

He had moved to the country to be with his fiancée, who he met in Palestine and proposed to three years ago.

Police dogs were able to track a scent from the crime scene, west along The Horsley Drive, to an area where a foot impression was located.

Police suspected the shooter may have parked their vehicle nearby, walked to Mr Jouda's home on foot, and then walked back following the shooting.

Detectives from Fairfield Local Area Command and the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad established Strike Force Interface as a result, to investigate Mr Jouda's alleged murder.

At about 7.40am today, a 47-year-old Granville man was arrested on Byron Street in Yennora.

He has been taken to Fairfield Police Station to assist police with their investigation.

Australian PM Malcolm Turnbull still silent after Assassination of Mr Curtis Cheng.

Time to talk about terror, Mr Turnbull

Editorial
The Daily Telegraph
October 9, 2015

THREE days. That’s how long Police Minister Troy Grant says it can take a Muslim youth to be turned into a terrorist.

Three days. That’s how long Malcolm Turnbull has been silent on the threat of terrorism in Australia.

At a time when the nation is crying out for leadership, is desperate for someone to espouse our values, acknowledge our fears and lead the fight to expunge religious extremism from our midst, the prime minister has been silent as a statue.

Instead it has been left to Premier Mike Baird — a man more in tune with ordinary people — to come out and say what the nation already knows: “This (the murder of Curtis Cheng) is a terrorist incident. That’s what it is — there is no doubt about it. We have to ensure that we don’t see incidents like this again.”

He also said there was “no doubt” that Sydney had an Islamic extremist problem. Baird’s simple words have captured the mood of average Australians, while Mr Turnbull’s haughty refusal to even discuss the problem gives the distinct impression that we hysterical and weak-minded mortals are all in a dither over nothing while he concentrates on weightier matters such as, er, launching finance apps.

Just as silent has been much of the official Islamic leadership in this country, as the Police Minister — himself a former officer who knows trouble when he sees it — has noted. If they are truly opposed to extremism and if Islam is truly a religion of peace they should be the first ones to stand up and be counted among the many Australians expressing their shock and abhorrence at this act and those before it.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister is doing little to cement his self-proclaimed reputation as a master communicator who rolled Tony Abbott because the latter was incapable of conveying clear messages. Say what you like about our last PM, at least he knew terrorism when he saw it.

If indeed Mr Turnbull is resetting the national response to extremism then let him say so, and more than that let him outline what action his government will take to ensure we expunge this threat from our communities.

Or if he does not see it as a major threat, let him come clean and declare that to the Australian people. Our nation needs straight talk and leadership. It is time our Prime Minister showed he is capable of both.

CHECKS WILL RULE OUT RISKS

THE threat of terror comes from both within and without any nation, as does the challenge of integrating the masses of asylum seekers from Syria into the West. Australia, to the great credit of the former prime minister, is playing its part with the intake of 12,000 Syrian refugees, yet even this fine humanitarian act is not without its risks.

In Europe, which is being overrun by fleeing migrants not seen since World War II, even the most progressive leaders are realising the continent is at breaking point.

There are reports that just one in five of the migrants entering Europe are from Syria — putting lie to claims that a colossal EU-wide effort is needed to accommodate the refugees from that sorrowful war-torn country. The chief victims of this, of course, are the genuine Syrian refugees.

Now Europe is planning a mass deportation of non-genuine refugees in response to the ever-growing influx and deploying warships to, you guessed it, stop the boats.

Of course in Australia it is a method already tried and proven. Once more Tony Abbott’s hardline stance on national security and border protection has been vindicated.

As Europe is in crisis, swamped by an unchecked wave of asylum seekers, Australia is planning to provide a safe haven to thousands of genuine refugees whose credentials and background will be checked — a response of both compassion and intelligence.

Who’s the humane one now?

Mark Latham declares we have a Muslim problem dunder headed Leftist Multiculturalists disagree.

The Verdict

Nine Network Sydney
October 8 2015
Extract from Episode 1.

Former Labor leader Mark Latham kept true to character telling the audience that he believed the high rates of welfare dependency in Western Sydney was to blame for the city’s “Muslim problem”.

“It started in 1980s with unskilled Muslim migration to Western Sydney, large parts of suburbs have welfare dependency problems and it pains me to say in Western Sydney there is a Muslim problem. After Man Monis who came from Western Sydney, after the shooting last week, we have to recognise this is just not radical Islamic ideology, it is also people with too much time on their hands, too many opportunities to sit around in groups, bitching about western culture, bitching about the American President, bitching about the Australian Prime Minister, and getting up to no good. So, the best thing the Federal Government can do is get these people out to work. Break down the welfare dependency in Western Sydney and in many ways it is not just a question of stopping radicalisation, how do we promote normality, normalisation in Western Sydney so people are making a positive contribution to society.”

But his comments were slapped down by counter terrorism expert Dr Anne Aly, who described his views as “simplistic”.

Islamic Terrorism and why we, so far, have not defeated it.

Islamic terrorism a culture of hatred

Piers Akerman
The Daily Telegraph
October 9 2015

THE twin curses of multiculturalism and populist pseudo-psychoanalysis have totally confused any rational discussion of the very real presence of Islamic terrorism in Australia.

Too much time has been spent debating whether the Martin Place siege was the act of a madman or a “lone wolf” or an Islamist.

Now self-proclaimed experts are asking if the cheery bureaucrat and family man Curtis Cheng was murdered a week ago by a rebellious teenager, or a new convert to radical Islam, or an individual making a monstrous political statement about a hate-filled centuries old division within Islam, or an idiot who believed he was oppressed, or just a disturbed kid who had fallen in with a bad bunch hanging out at the local mosque?

Let’s forget defining the niceties of this murderous individual’s personality.

This act was committed by a criminal, first and foremost.

If any one of the ensuing inquiries and talk fests finds otherwise or offers the now too-familiar excuse that the young man was an isolated, angry and marginalised manipulable malcontent, it will have been a total waste of time and money.

He clearly identified himself as a member of something called the Muslim community — though Muslims are themselves divided into such a confusing number of identities that it can hardly be claimed there is such a community, and it is impossible to find a single readily accessible Muslim religious leader who speaks with any real authority on any Islamic issue.

As a follower of Islam’s tortuous and often contradictory Koran, the murderer was bound to find himself at odds with the majority of Australians because it would be difficult to find an Aussie male outside the Muslim community who would believe that all women must be at all times subservient to men.

It would be just as difficult to find an Aussie who would embrace the exhortations to murder apostates, or believe that all Jews and Christians must be murdered as a prerequisite to gaining Paradise.

These are just a few of the hurdles placed in the path of Muslims who want to be fully accepted as Australians — hurdles that cannot be scrambled over or around because there cannot possibly be a duality of beliefs which encompasses both the democratic ideal of equality that frames the Western outline of governance and the supremacy of an extremely vengeful and blindly demanding worship.

Under the politically correct constructs of multiculturalism, Western populations have been lectured and hectored and bullied by so-called progressives toward the entirely false notion that all cultures have equal value.

Clearly, they don’t.

Although the Western feminist clique has largely been silent about the brutality meted out to their sisters in most Muslim countries, it is frequent.

Even here, there have been honour killings, forced marriages of girls to older men they have never met and, of course, there have been incidences of female genital mutilation conducted for cultural reasons.

Cultures that stone women to death, and lop off hands and heads, cannot be placed in the same context as those that have, after centuries of debate, decided cruel and unusual punishments should be abolished.

Nor do homosexuals get off lightly, although the Western homosexual marriage lobby has little or no time to publicise the plight of those who have been thrown off rooftops because of their sexuality.

Their vitriol, as with the bilious feminists, is focused on the Vatican.

It may well be that the overwhelming majority of Muslims in Australian reject the appalling injunctions contained in those Koranic verses which most appeal to those who are seduced by Daesh/Islamic State or al-Qaeda and the vision of a medieval caliphate replete with slave women.

If this is so, then surely there must be one mullah, one imam, from an Australian mosque who is prepared to take a public stand.

If not, then all the claims made on behalf of Muslims by politicians pushing multiculturalism look very ordinary and the call by NSW Opposition Leader Luke Foley for more mosques for “mainstream” Muslims seems totally bizarre.

Before holding hands and humming Kumbaya, our politicians and security forces should consider the first response Tunisia’s Prime Minister Habib Essid had to last June’s terrorist massacre of tourists to his country.

He declared that 80 mosques in which extremists had preached were to be closed down.

He didn’t quibble about assigning the responsibility for what was an absolute outrage to those Muslim preachers who were calling on their followers to join in jihad.

British Prime Minister David Cameron has belatedly come to the same conclusion and warned operators of Muslim schools that they will be shut down if found to be teaching extremist hatred.

“We’ve got children being taught that they shouldn’t mix with people of other religions; being beaten; swallowing conspiracy theories about Jewish people,” he said.

“These children should be having their minds opened, their horizons broadened, not having their heads filled with poison and their hearts filled with hate.”

Contemptible progressives in Australia have permitted purveyors of hate to operate here, gaming freedom of speech laws in order to silence critics of multiculturalism and those who point out the obvious inconsistencies within Islam.

They are the true oppressors of those who want to raise their families in an enlightened nation free from suffocating religious domination.

Salim Mehajer is now accused of threatening the family of a Sydney siege survivor. His colleagues, once again, say he has brought shame on their council.

POLICE are preparing to lay charges relating to intimidation against Auburn deputy mayor Salim Mehajer over alleged threats he made against the father of one of the Lindt siege survivors.

Mehajer, whose lavish wedding outraged the city in August, allegedly threatened Bruce Herat at a gym in Burwood on September 16.

Bruce Herat, whose son Joel was one of the Lindt Cafe workers taken hostage by terrorist Man Monis last December, accused Salim Mehajer of threatening his children after he asked the deputy mayor to stop dropping weights on the floor of Anytime Fitness.

Mr Mehajer allegedly said he would “find out where you live and have your kids kidnapped” following the confrontation.

The Daily Telegraph understands Burwood police are planning to charge Mr Mehajer today and also slap him with an AVO.

It is expected Mr Mehajer will be issued a court attendance notice for a future court date.

Australia's Leaders and Police lying about Islamic ASSASSIN Farhad Jabar’s Motivation for Killing Mr Curtis Cheng.

Police and politicians lying about what inspired Farhad Jabar’s Parramatta police shooting

Andrew Bolt
Herald Sun
October 7, 2015

THEY treat us like fools. Police and politicians are telling untruths about what inspired Farhad Jabar to kill.

Those untruths are meant to build trust with Muslim Australians, which we need. But everyone else will wonder: “What other lies are we being told?”

Consider: Iranian-born Jabar went from his mosque to the Parramatta police station where he shot a Buddhist accountant and shouted “Allahu akbar” — Allah is the greatest. In his backpack was a letter reportedly containing Islamist extremist literature.

Police have raided Farhad’s mosque and are checking sermons given there. They are also investigating an alleged ring of sympathisers of the Islamic State, which quotes the Koran to legitimise the murder of nonbelievers.

“Kill the polytheists wherever you find them,” goes one such passage in Islam’s holiest text.

Yet police and ministers of the Turnbull Government still pretend this murder was not religiously inspired, but politically.

“This appears to have been an act of politically motivated violence,” claimed Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull. Foreign Affairs Minister Julie Bishop agreed this was “a politically motivated killing”.

Even NSW Police Commissioner Andrew Scipione repeated this deception: “We believe (Farhad’s) actions were politically motivated and therefore linked to terrorism.”

Excuse me, but what political party did Farhad represent? Who is this “Allah” — a candidate at the next federal election?

Deputy Police Commissioner Nick Kaldas kept up the act on the ABC’s 7.30, claiming Muslim youths such as Farhad were “doing this simply as a way to rebel”.

“In a sense, they’re not really religiously driven. I wouldn’t say they’ve studied the Koran and come to some firm views … It is a rebellion.”

True, many children of all faiths rebel, but most don’t rebel by shooting or stabbing our police, or supporting terrorist groups that slaughter unbelievers and hack off heads.

That’s a script we don’t see Buddhist or Presbyterian Australians following. But it is one followed by hundreds of Muslim Australians, who quote the Koran in justification.

Yet the Government won’t discuss the links between Islam and terrorism, saying it is determined to “reach out” to Muslim Australians.

But keeping quiet about Islam doesn’t merely take the pressure off Muslim leaders to reform their faith. (Anyone heard from the Grand Mufti?) It destroys the trust of other Australians in the authorities meant to protect them, not least when choosing who to let into our country.

The Government’s policies left even the usually frank Concetta Fierravanti-Wells, Assistant Minister for Multicultural Affairs, performing strange contortions in my interview with her on 2GB on Tuesday.

Full interview and comment with Steve Price and Andrew Bolt

Bolt: Why is Malcolm Turnbull — and Julie Bishop and Andrew Scipione — calling what happened politically motivated violence when the boy was shouting “Allah” when he shot the unfortunate police accountant?

Fierravanti-Wells: Well, Andrew, I think the Prime Minister today … referred to it as politically motivated and then said “and that’s terrorism”.

Bolt: Yes, the word that is missing here is “religious”.

Fierravanti-Wells: Well, Andrew I think there will be things that are going to come out as part of the inquiry …

Bolt: I find it amazing that … the Government keeps calling it a politically motivated attack and not a religious one and I just want to know why.

Fierravanti-Wells: I think, Andrew, that this is an ongoing investigation … Look, there is no doubt that the motivation is a very important issue. People want to know what motivates a 15-year-old boy to walk down a street ...

Bolt: Shouting “Allah”.

Fierravanti-Wells: ... shouting whatever he is alleged to have shouted.

Bolt: You see, you can’t even say what he is alleged to have shouted. He shouted “Allah”.

Fierravanti-Wells: He shouted what he shouted and did this and it is really important that we do understand what is the motivation.

Get the impression the Government actually has no interest in the motivation if it’s Islam?

Notice how it prefers to talk about everything but — about the “marginalisation” of Muslim youths, the “divisive” language of former prime minister Tony Abbott, the need to “engage” Muslim parents, the creation of more “deradicalisation” programs.

Easy stuff. But largely peripheral stuff. It’s like searching under a street light for your lost key, because it’s too dark where you actually dropped it.

Yes, I understand the Government doesn’t want to alienate the many law-abiding Muslims. It does not want rednecks hitting back. It needs the trust of Muslim parents to help stop radicals.

Yet much of this treats the symptoms, not the cause.

And for many Australians, the deceitful language suggests our politicians lack the courage to even name that cause, let alone confront it.

BIGOTRY AND THE SOUND OF SILENCE

WARNING: our universities are breeding a generation of totalitarians determined to shut down debates.

Take the University of NSW. Its Student Representative Council demanded other students cancel a lecture this week by former defence minister Kevin Andrews.

Andrews was against same-sex marriage, complained SRC president Billy Bruffey, and that would “cause UNSW students to feel victimised and isolated”.

Besides, “Andrews’ views do not conform with those of the University or its students”. Really? Andrews’ views conform with not one of the students’? And by what right does Bruffey stop students from hearing different arguments and deciding for themselves?

Yet how often we now see this effrontery. In South Australia, the Flinders University Student Association’s head declared she was “repulsed” by the proposal to have Danish academic Bjorn Lomborg set up a think tank at the university. Lomborg, she claimed, would run “a climate change denial centre on campus” putting out “Right-wing junk”.

I don’t know if she bothered to listen to the renowned academic she wants to ban because she’d know he was no “denier”. He merely believes the planet is warming less than once predicted, a fact the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change admits.

He also believes it’s not smart to spend trillions on “solutions” that make little difference to the temperature. But that important debate is now impossible on many campuses. In fact, students and staff at the University of Western Australia stopped Lomborg’s centre from opening there, falsely accusing him of “bad science”.

But global warmists aren’t the only ideological stormtroopers.

Socialist Alternative protesters have howled down a lecture at Melbourne University by former Liberal MP Sophie Mirabella and assaulted Foreign Affairs Minister Julie Bishop at Sydney University.

In May, also at Sydney University, students, backed by two academics, burst into a lecture by retired British colonel Richard Kemp, chanting, “Richard Kemp, you can’t hide, you support genocide”. Kemp’s crime? To argue that Israel had tried very hard to avoid civilian casualties in its war with Hamas.

Watch out. Today’s campus totalitarians are tomorrow’s politicians, judges and journalists and our free speech is already in danger. We’ve seen even the Turnbull Government ban an American who had been booked to speak here against abortion.

Who will be silenced next?
