"The chief weapon in the quiver of all Islamist expansionist movements, is the absolute necessity to keep victims largely unaware of the actual theology plotting their demise. To complete this deception, a large body of ‘moderates’ continue to spew such ridiculous claims as “Islam means Peace” thereby keeping non-Muslims from actually reading the Qur’an, the Sira, the Hadith, or actually looking into the past 1400 years of history. Australian Immigration Minister Scott Morrison speaks with Ben Fordham about the allegations of torture by Insurgents and THEIR ABC by the Royal Australian Navy

Abbott says navy claims are baseless

Liam Fitzgerald
The Daily Telegraph
January 22,2014

PRIME Minister Tony Abbott says there is "absolutely no evidence" to back up claims Australian sailors mistreated asylum seekers during a boat tow-back operation.

Indonesian police are investigating after the ABC aired footage of asylum seekers receiving medical treatment for burns they allege were inflicted when they were forced to hold onto hot engine pipes during a boat tow-back operation to Rote Island.

Immigration Minister Scott Morrison denied the allegations on Wednesday, saying people smugglers had reason to fabricate them to undermine Australia's border protection policies, and his comments were backed up by Mr Abbott in Switzerland.

"There's absolutely no evidence for them," said Mr Abbott, in Davos for the World Economic Forum.

"These are just claims without any apparent facts to back them up.

"I fully support the statement of the minister on this subject and I have complete confidence in the decency, the humanity and the professionalism of Australia's naval and customs personnel, who I commend for a magnificent job. A job which is increasingly effective and successful."

Asked if the aired footage constituted as evidence, Mr Abbott said: "Who do you believe?

"Do you believe Australian naval personnel or do you believe people who were attempting to break Australian law? I believe Australian naval personnel."

Okto George Riwu, a spokesman for Indonesia's East Nusa Tenggara provincial police, said earlier officers were looking into the allegations but did not yet have evidence to back up the allegations.

Mr Abbott said the claims would not impact upon Australia's longstanding policy of turning back asylum-seeker boats "when it's safe to do so".

The prime minister's comments came after he moved to ease tensions with Indonesia on Tuesday by declaring it was Australia's "most important single relationship".

However, in the wake of the naval infringement controversy, Mr Abbott said Indonesian president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono must understand border control was a matter of sovereignty for Australia.

Australian Customs and Defence have started a review into the entry of Australian vessels into Indonesian waters after the incursions reignited tensions between the nations.

Skaf Rape Gang Victims will never forgive

We can't forget and we'll never forgive - Skaf rape victims ten years on

This story was published
4 YEARS AGO JULY 03, 2010

SALLY Sharp* does not mince her words. Ten years after a group of 14 young males gang raped her in a horrific six-hour ordeal she still wishes they were dead.
"I just wish they were all dead, run over by a bus," she says.

But these days she can't be bothered wasting her energy thinking too much about them. Life has moved on, she is happy and positive, she has a great job which she loves, she has relationships and a wonderfully supportive family

Remember When: Crown Prosecutor Margaret Cunneen,The woman who fought back for the victims.

Sydney's Occupied Territories Bilal Skaf Gang Rapist member known as "H" to be released on Parole... NOT LONG ENOUGH!!! Deport the Prick

Sally, now 29, was one of at least six victims who fell prey to the evil gang of Bilal Skaf, which terrorised western Sydney in August of the year 2000, gang raping young women in what turned out to be racist attacks.

Their victims were lured from trains, shopping centres and public places. The attacks were calculated and well planned and involved up to 14 males, aged 13 to 18 years, all of Lebanese origin. As well as being raped, Sally was subjected to racist taunts, she was called an "Aussie pig", told she was going to get it "Leb style" and asked if "Leb c*** tasted better than Aussie c***".

It has been a long road to recovery for the victims but most of them have triumphed. Of the 11 young men convicted of attacking them, all but one remain in jail. One was released on parole three years ago and another, who was released on parole in May last year, had his parole revoked in March after failing drug tests.

But, for the victims, life is best lived without giving any of the men much thought. Some would prefer not to talk about it at all. At least two are now married with young children. One of them, who spent several years living overseas, says that era has now been erased from her life and she has so much to look forward to with her family and children that she does not look backwards.

Others say they have emerged winners and one, who also has children now, has even forgiven her attackers.
Sally will never do that. She says there is "no way" she would ever forgive any of the 14 who defiled her on the evening of August 30, 2000. She is not one of those capable of such extraordinary forgiveness.

But she doesn't need to be. After an ordeal through the courts which dragged on for seven years and which saw two of her alleged attackers granted retrials and one ultimately found not guilty, she has emerged stronger and more determined.
It wasn't an easy road to travel. The ongoing court cases badly affected her study, she was scared to go out and she was locking herself away in the house.

She remembers the exact moment when she decided that the men who raped her would not break her spirit. It was the day she was meant to go back to court to give evidence in the retrial of one of her alleged attackers.

She did not want to do it. She had been in court several times and it had been a harrowing experience. She didn't want to go back there. It was too draining, emotionally and physically.
"That was seven years after it [the attacks]. It was enough. That was exactly the moment I decided I wasn't going back," Sally says.
"It seemed like every time I got myself to a place where I wanted to do something with the rest of my life, this [court] would come back and kick me up the bum and I would dwell on it."

Sally says that half of her is glad she went to police and to court, the other half wonders if it was worth it.
The court system, she says, is "riddled with flaws". Her advice for rape victims is to do what they think is right and not to let other people talk them into going to court.
Another victim, Debbie Greenwood*, is now 28.

She is satisfied with the court and criminal justice system response to her case and she would do it all over again if she had to in order to ensure her rapists got what they deserved.
Debbie now has a long-term relationship and a stable job and says she tries not to think about that night too often. She now exercises caution when she goes out at night and says she only goes out with her boyfriend to ensure that she is safe.

"Before it happened I used to think no one would ever attack me. Clearly when it happened I thought I was going to die that night . . . that I wasn't as invincible as I thought," she remembers.

"Pretty much for me I feel that justice is served in my case anyway. I think they got what they deserved for the crimes they committed against me. I'd do it all again. I'd go back [to court] as many times as I had to, I'd go back time and time again."

Sally remains tough and determined. She now has a job which she loves and she is able to catch a train again. Sally was lured from a train to her fate and for a long time found it difficult to get on a train.

But she is pragmatic. She has to get to work and get around somehow. Besides, avoiding trains would mean her attackers had won.

And she doesn't think about the attack as often. Once, she would think about it all the time, every day. Now it's less frequent, as are the flashbacks and nightmares. She has conquered her own devils and is proud of it.

Sydney's Occupied Territories Skaf Rape Gang "I've got a slut with me bro, come to Punchbowl."

Rapist may soon be free, 13 years after Skaf gang rapes

AS SYDNEY prepared for the 2000 Olympics, a group of up to fourteen Lebanese-Australian males terrorised the streets.

The youths led by 19-year-old Bilal Skaf were involved in horrific sexual attacks on women and girls in the south-western suburbs of Sydney over a month period.

On February 4, another one of the attackers may be back on the streets. The rapist, known only as 'H', is expected to be granted parole after serving 11 years in prison.

The terms and date of his release will be decided on February 4, with the panel noting the parole conditions would be "stringent".

H's identity has been suppressed by the courts as he was only 17 years old at the time of the attacks, and suffered from "intellectual and mental disabilities".

Last year, H's parole was delayed as there were fears he could not integrate properly into society, due to not having enough exposure to the community through weekend and day release.

His solicitor Keppie Waters disagreed, saying her client H was "capable of adhering to normal community life".

She also said he was mindful of not contacting co-offenders, even though he would be living near them.

H showed little emotion as the hearing took place and the news was announced that he would soon be released.

 THE MONTHS OF HORROR

"What you hear about or read about only in the context of wartime atrocities"- Judge Michael Finnane describing the attacks that occurred on the streets of Sydney in the months of August and September 2000.

The horror began on August 4, 2000, when a 14-year-old girl was approached by four men while travelling on a train.

In a vicious attack she was punched, slapped, and told she would be forced to perform sex acts on the men and that she would then be raped.

One of the men said to someone on his mobile phone: "I've got a sl*t with me bro, come to Punchbowl."

On August 10th, 2000, two girls, aged 17 and 18, were late-night shopping at Chatswood Mall in Sydney. The girls were approached by eight men, including Bilal Skaf, who persuaded them to get into a white van with four of the men.

With the belief they may get some marijuana to smoke and then dropped home, the girls got into the back of the van, where there were no seats. Bilal introduced himself as Adam, and stated he was 22 years old. A red car, with the other four men, followed the van.

During the journey all of the men spoke to each other in Arabic and the attacks were co-ordinated using their mobile phones.

The girls were taken across the Harbour Bridge, to Northcote Park in Greenacre.

In this park the teens were beaten in a show of authority and then forced to repeatedly perform oral sex on their attackers.

After the disgraceful attacks, the girls were left in the park at close to midnight, in a highly emotional state with no phones and no money. They were rescued by a couple walking by.

Throughout his trial, Bilal Skaf continued to suggest the girls were willing participants. The extent of the beatings and disgusting details of the crimes proved this was not the case.

The following Saturday, August 12, 2000, the gang struck again. A 16-year-old girl was taken to Gosling Park in Greenacre by her friend of six months, Mohammed Skaf, 17.

When she arrived at the park she was raped by his brother Bilal Skaf and another man, while 12 men watched on. She said they were "standing around, laughing and talking in their own language".

She then had a gun held to her head and was kicked in the stomach. She managed to escape and run to a phone box, hysterical.

The judge said due to her courage she avoided being raped by all the men present.

"These men treated her much like wild animals treat prey they have just killed," Judge Michael Finnane said during Bilal Skaf's trial.

One of the most horrific attacks was an orchestrated gang rape on the 30th August, 2000.

A woman, known only as C, was approached by the men at Bankstown Railway Station and they asked her to join them to smoke marijuana. She agreed.

The woman was then taken to three separate locations and raped 25 times by the 14 men over a period of six hours.

In what led commentators to describe the attack as "racially motivated", the woman claimed her attackers called her an "Aussie pig" and asked if "Leb c*** tasted better than Aussie c***".

They also said they would rape her "Leb-style".

The first part of the attack occurred in toilets in Bankstown, where she was assaulted by four men.

After this disturbing attack, the victim was passed over to another group of men and taken to Bankstown Trotting Club where she was again raped.

The victim was then driven to an industrial estate in Chullora where she was raped multiple times and, in a final degrading act, hosed down by the attackers.

Justice Finnane said during the trial of Bilal Skaf that the crimes were "carefully planned and coordinated".

The degree of planning and coordination distinguishes these crimes from other cases of gang rape which have been reported from time to time, which are often, if not usually, perpetrated by intoxicated men who have seized an opportunity which has been presented to them," he said.

"None of these crimes happened on the spur of the moment. None of the assailants was in any way affected by alcohol or drugs."

The final reported attack happened on September 4, 2000.

Two girls, both 16, were lured from Beverly Hills train station and taken to a house in Lakemba. Once there they were raped by three men over a period of four hours.

The Skaf brothers and several of their accomplices, including 'H', were arrested and tried. After being sentenced leniently, Premier Bob Carr ordered a retrial.

The ringleader Bilal Skaf was sentenced to 55 years in jail, which was later reduced to 28 years.

'H' is expected to be released in the community in less than a month.

Four of the other men convicted of the gang rapes have been granted parole, while the ringleader Bilal Skaf, now 32, will not be eligible for parole until 2033.

One of the victims was told: "You deserve it because you're an Australian".

Bevan Meninga 'not prepared to wait any longer" for Parole. Cheree Richardson Raped and beaten to death "just kept hitting her" and "stuck a stick up her vagina".

What  Bevan Meninga did to 19-year old Cheree Richardson

If Cheree Richardson was your daughter what would you say to Bevan Meninga when he says through his lawyer
that he is  "not prepared to wait any longer",for parole ?

"..........To come to immediately relevant matters, the appellant told the police that he hit the victim on the head, "just kept hitting her" and "stuck a stick up her vagina".  He said that at the time the victim had her dress pulled up to her stomach and had no panties on.
Cheree Richardson Raped and beaten to death

He described to the police the stick he used to hit her and the stick he pushed into her vagina.  When he gave evidence, the appellant said he did not know from where he recalled the stick having been put into the victim's vagina.
The medical evidence showed that the girl was very severely beaten about the head and that she had injuries which were consistent with a foreign object being inserted into her vagina; it had caused perforations in the back wall of the vagina. The post mortem examination was done of the morning of 14 May."

Meninga's brother makes bid for freedom

January 22,2014
THE jailed brother of rugby league legend Mal Meninga has taken his bid for freedom to the Supreme Court.

Bevan Meninga has already served 21 years in prison for the rape and murder of a teenage girl on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.

He applied to the Supreme Court for parole after the Queensland Parole Board failed to rule on his release.

The parole board had failed in its duty to decide on Meninga's application within 210 days of receiving it, the Supreme Court heard on Wednesday.

Meninga applied 12 months ago and was "not prepared to wait any longer", his lawyer Julie Devery said.

The parole board was planning to meet on Friday to decide whether to grant parole or a take a preliminary view to decline it, the court heard.

Justice Anthe Philippides said a decision had to be made given how long Meninga had spent waiting.

"I think it's appropriate that the matter proceed," she said.

"If a decision is made and if it's not necessary to proceed further with this application, so be it."

Justice Philippides adjourned the matter to February 13, to ensure a quick decision on Meninga's parole.

Meninga, then 20, was sentenced to life in prison in August 1992 for the rape and murder of 19-year old Cheree Richardson.

Ms Richardson's battered body was found in an Alexandra Headland park on the Sunshine Coast.

She had suffered massive head injuries after being bashed with a tree branch and also had internal injuries.

At the time of the attack, Meninga had been on parole for bashing a woman with a stake in her home.

Asylum seekers accused of sabotaging own boat

Ian McPhedran
The Daily Telegraph
January 22,2014

FAR from burning the hands of asylum seekers, Australian Navy sailors actually provided first aid to asylum seekers whose hands were burned as they attempted to sabotage their own boat.

Navy chief Vice-Admiral Griggs will take to Twitter later today to deny allegations by Indonesian police and asylum seekers that his sailors had tortured them by burning their hands and bashing them.

"This is not what the navy does," a source said he would say.

"We have always been about saving people's lives."

The Lies and Slander propagated by THEIR ABC, Australia's HATE MEDIA, Hatred of all things Australian

Immigration Minister Scott Morrison today rejected the claims, adding the government is committed to strong Australian borders.

"There are any number of criminal syndicates trying to reach our borders that put Australians at risk,'' he said.

Earlier he labelled the reports "unfounded, unsubstantiated and outrageous".

"There has been no police investigation in Indonesia," Mr Morrison told Fairfax radio in Perth.

"I am surprised that unsubstantiated allegations would have been aired in such a way which diminish our navy.

"I have total confidence in our navy - for these allegations to be aired without any qualification is a pretty poor effort and not something most Australians would give a tick too.

"These people put themselves them at risk to protect others. For them to have to sit there and cop this sort of rubbish is offensive."

The navy also has the backing of Acting Prime Minister Warren Truss.

"I'm confident they have behaved responsibly and appropriately,'' Mr Truss told media today.

"We received assurances that the defence forces have acted responsibly and I accept those assurances.''

Video aired on ABC News shows asylum seekers undergoing medical checks for burns that Indonesian police say were caused by the Australian Navy.

Indonesian police say they had to get medical treatment for 10 asylum seekers - seven with severe burns on their hands - after they were picked up in Indonesian waters on January 6, ABC News reports.

Indonesian police told ABC News the burns were caused after the Australian Navy forced asylum seekers to board a boat being towed back to Indonesia and to hold onto pipes coming out of the boat's engine.

ABC News says the police claims appear to correspond with claims of mistreatment made by the asylum seekers when they first spoke to them a fortnight ago.

Asylum seekers also claim they were beaten by navy personnel, ABC News reports.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Tony Abbott has moved to ease tensions with Indonesia by declaring it is Australia's "most important single relationship''.

It comes as Australian Customs and Defence start a review into the entry of Australian vessels into Indonesian waters after the incursions reignited tensions between the nations.

The Australian PM has arrived in Davos for this week's World Economic Forum but he won't get a chance to meet with Dr Yudhoyono, who is not attending.

However Mr Abbott stressed the importance he placed on relations with Australia's northern neighbour and its leader.

"It is, in the broad, our most important single relationship,'' Mr Abbott told a press conference in Davos on Tuesday.

"At different times in the past there have been difficulties ... and I dare say our two countries being what they are, there will be difficulties in the future.

"But I do want to stress President Yudhoyono has been a great president of Indonesia, has been a very good friend of Australia and I have enormous personal respect and admiration for the president.

" ... I want nothing but a good relationship between Australia and Indonesia.''

Egypt: Parents of Al Jizz Australian reporter Peter Greste plead for his release

As an Australian I hate to think of fellow Australians incarcerated in foreign prison cells, however I do wish Australians would simply obey the law of whatever country it is they are visiting no matter how unjust they may think the law in that country is.

Peter Greste, in case you did not know Al Jizz is about as popular as a Turd in a swimming pool with the Egyptian people, it and I guess you, seeing as though you work for them , is a mouth piece, apologist, propaganda wing  of the Muslim Brotherhood,an Islamic Terrorist Organisation, I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you did not know that, Peter when you sign up with Satan it rarely works out the way he promised you.

I do hope you are released soon and are able to return to Australia however I worry about what you might get up to when you come back, maybe your parents can talk some sense into you and explain just who the good guys are and who it is you should be working for irrespective of who is paying you.

Fighters in Syria may lose passports

AUSTRALIANS who fight in Syria could be stripped of their passports, the government said yesterday.
Immigration Minister Scott Morrison said the government was looking at beefing up possible options to deal with dual nationals fighting in the war torn nation.

Mr Morrison said that while Australia could cancel passports before those intending to go to Syria had left Australia, it did not have the same powers under citizenship laws as the UK. Britain last year used wide-ranging powers to revoke citizenship for 20 dual nationals fighting in Syria.

Asked about whether he wanted the UK powers, Mr Morrison said: “You definitely want to have things of that order to enable you to protect the country from the incursion of that sort of violent and unhelpful view.

“We are looking right now at all the options before us to strengthen powers where necessary to be able to deal more decisively with these very issues.”
He said the issue was stopping people coming back into Australia with “these troubles”.

“They have no place here in this country and anyone who wants to bring them here should not come and we are looking at every option available to us to ensure we have the powers to do just that,” he said. “We just don’t want those troubles in this country and people who bring them here should not come.”

His comments come amid concerns about Australians travelling to Syria to fight, with some being killed in battle and others reportedly joining terrorist organisations.

The Middle Eastern Organised Crime Squad (MEOCS) formed Strike Force Sitella to investigate a number of shootings during the second half of 2013.

Since the Strike Force was formed police said it has resulted in the arrest of eleven people facing 78 charges, as well as seizing three handguns, two shotguns and quantities of illicit drugs.

The Strike Force is investigating the following shootings:
